Karma Salon & Spa

I started going to Karma about a year ago and I love it. I instantly had a connection with my stylist, Stephanie and she does an amazing job! It's so cute with purple walls and leopard chairs and I look forward to going for my hair color every month! I highly recommend this salon to everyone! more

Tucked behind a restaurant on Baker street in Media, Pa Karma Salon & Spa is truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and sophisticated. Christine gives a wonderful pedicure along with wonderful conversation. I will definitely be going back! more

This is a relatively new salon but it is a wonderful place. The decor is so relaxing and attractive. A full menu of services is available and the staff, from the receptionist to the owner, are all friendly and professional.\r It is very close to the Towne House in Media, on the little street between Baltimore Pike and State Street. Parking is at metered places unless you are lucky enough to find a spot along some of the side streets. Karma will reimburse you for your parking meter expense! more

I have known and followed Tracey for several years and now she is at Karma helping it build and keep its excellent rating and reputation. Tracey will do a little great or a lot great, either way she gives terrific quality. I have had, and will in future, her facials, her manicures and pedicures, her chair and back massage, and also her make-up lessons. She is skilled, pleasant, and just right with talking and listening. She is wise, spiritual, and a natural mind-body healer. She taught me how to put on make-up, and ordered the best combination of products. She also did my make-up for my daughter's and son's weddings, coming to my home. She is just great and I highly recommend her to you. You will not be disappointed, and she is worth every dollar! more

first off i want to say im sorry that sandi the last reviewee didnt have the wonderful experience i had at karma she must not know anything about facials because i have traveled all around the world getting facials and little did i know Jill was right around the corner. I had the most relaxing and cleansing facial i have had in years.she really took the time to ask me all about my areas of concern and deffinately met my needs. I highly recommend this beautiful salon and have told all of my friends about it! Thank you to karma! especially Jill more

I scheduled a facial with Jill from Karma a few months back (I like to try a new spa every now and again) after reading the reviews below. I felt that she was “good,” but not “great.” I get a facial about every three months due to congestion on my nose and chin, so I was looking for someone to really work those areas, as well as the rest of my face. I didn’t feel that my face got the attention it needed during that visit. When I got home I examined my skin and it just didn’t look like I had a “deep cleansing” and it didn't have that rejuvenated feel so I called the spa I normally go to and scheduled a facial (just a few short weeks after this visit). As the post below mentions, she does not leave the room while you mask. In my case she gave me a leg and foot massage, which was nice, but I don’t mind being left alone to mask, it gives me time to relax and rejuvenate. One last thing.. I’d like to say that Jill was VERY nice and courteous, she just wasn’t right for me. more

GREAT salon and spa!! Of course I am completely blanking on the specific stylist I've had but the entire place is lovely and top-notch. My mother suggested it to me as she is another loyal Karma customer. You won't be disappointed. :) more

I read the reviews before making my appointment at Karma and I am so glad I did. I had the most wonderful facial by Jill. I have had many in my day but never one like she does it. She took her time, while never leaving me unattended. Most people leave the room while your masking, she massaged gently while answering the questions I had for her! I booked another appointment before i left. During my experience I also noticed how clean the place was. If you want a calm and peaceful atmosphere with and hour of relaxation, Karma is the place to go! more

Karma was amazing. It was seriously the best pedicure that I've ever had. The salon is beautiful, and very clean. The woman that did my pedicure was named Christine and she was fabulous- everyone made me feel very comfortable and like I was a regular customer even though it was my first visit. I will definitely be going back to this salon to try their other services. I really can't say enough good things about my experience there today. more

Best Facial in town! Jill was fantastic, she made me feel so relaxed while giving me great advice for my skin. Not only did she concentrate on my face but incorporated a body massage with it. Most affordable I've seen, I already booked another appointment! more
