Kristin is amazing! 7/25/2011

I spent 5 1/2 hours with Kristin on Saturday! She colored, cut and did my Keratin treatment. She is wonderful. We laughed and talked and had a good time.She also gives a great neck and shoulder and hand and arm massage! I haven't been able to wash my hair yet...I'm dying here...but I'm sure it's going to be great.Kristin is warm and friendly and very professional. I started with Kristin because my hairstylist was on maternity leave. And even she loves the way Kristin does my hair! Thanks Kristin! You are a "Rockstar Hairstylist"! Eileen more

Whenever I go to Karen Allen Salon, I always treated like I matter. Ariel does such a terrific job on my hair and always goes the extra step to insure that I am happy. When I leave people always ask me where I get my hair done and I always tell them to see Ariel at Karen Allen. more

Awesome treatment 7/22/2011

I have been very pleased with all of my interactions. Everyone is very friendly and efficient. I love the high quality products used. Holly rocks as a colorist and stylist. I get a great many compliments on my hair color and style since she has been doing my hair. more

Haircut 7/22/2011

Overall, this salon is nice. I was a little nervous towards the end as the stylist seemed unsure as how to style my hair which left me concerned about the cut itself and I had to keep asking her to blend the shorter layers better. When I did my hair myself this morning however, it appears the cut is good enough to hold me for another 6 to 8 weeks. more

I have had my hair done with Karen Allen many times. I can always count on a great experience and consistency no matter whom I make my appointment with. I am a busy working mom, so sometimes booking ahead is a challenge. Luckily for me, I met Kristin two appts ago. She makes my experience so worth my time and money. She always makes great recommendations and talks to me about how to improve my hair and walks me through what she applies. I love her! more

Karina always provides excellent service! She is my color "Rock Star!" She answers all of my questions; gives me pointers and tips on color or cuts that are best suited for my face and hair texture. Love the attention I receive when I go to Karen Allen! I will continue to tell my friends. more

acrylic nails - new set - pink and white powder. 7/18/2011

I'm not trying to be mean, I just think the salon owner should know that this service, for the quality of the job done, is way over priced. The nails were not very professionaly done.When I sat down I asked what the cost was and I was told $45.00. The girl who was first going to do my nails said she really didn't know how to do pink and white nails. I told her for $45.00 I really wanted to have someone who would do a good job. At no time did anyone tell me that it was an extra $10.00 to remove my old set AND and additional $5.00 for the gel. When I got to the counter to pay and my charge was $60.00 I was stunned. I love the salon and Kristen does a great job on my hair, but I will never get my nails done there again. I'm still upset with myself for paying so much to get my nails done which are the second worst set I've ever had. Donna was very kind and I appreciate that. Sincerely, Eileen more

Excellent Service 7/13/2011

I went to your salon over the weekend for a cut and advice on my hair, and Kristen whom did my hair was great. Not only did she hold a great conversation with me, she also answered all of my questions. Kristen sent me on my way with the products I needed, and helpful tips that I haven't been given at other salons. I can't see myself going to another salon as long as I am in the state of California. Kristen has found a life client. The Atmosphere of the salon is relaxing, and comfortable. Keep it up... I am not sure if you have facebook but I would deffinetly like it and follow you on facebook! more

Ariel is GREAT! 7/10/2011

I have been going to see Ariel since the beginning of the year. I am used to my sister doing my hair but she moved to Texas. I tried so many stylists and wasn't happy with one of them. They always gave me crappy stripe-y highlights and way to blonde hair, regardless of my telling them exactly what I wanted. My sister finally told me to try an Aveda salon in the area (that is what she works at in Texas). I am so happy I did. Ariel saved my hair. She brought my blonde back to a manageable shade that is really flattering on me. She has great hints to help me with growing out my hair. And I love when she curls my hair before I leave. more
