Excellent sushi, friendly staff 10/26/2005

Kaiwa has become one of my favorite sushi places! When I moved to the east bay from the city I thought there wouldn't be great sushi restaurants but I was wrong. Their sushi is always fresh and the specialty rolls are awesome. I definitely recommend this restaurant to any sushi fanatic. Pros: wonderful food, good service, varied menu Cons: parking more

The BEST w/o the cost 12/14/2002

The rice is always fluffy and fresh, not that dried out stuff you get at some places. Their warm sushi and rolls are just to die for. Try their Dragon Roll or the Van Roll. more
