Kaiser's American Bistro

Went once, and it was fine. The last two visits have been very sub-par. I ordered a sandwich with Swiss cheese and got American (or something equally bland). I showed it to the server and asked him to correct it. When he returned from the kitchen, he said they told him it was Swiss cheese. Hey, Dude, there aren't even any holes in it, and I can taste the difference. In addition to that, the sandwich wasn't even constructed so you could eat it. I know, I know, it's very picky, but you can build a sandwich so it doesn't fall apart. Go for the ice cream, I guess. more

I have always loved Kaiser's. They have some amazing food and the prices are pretty reasonable. They have fresh baked goods, great meats, wonderful buffalo burgers, tasty drinks and then there is the ice cream...\r It is hard not to order the buffalo burger every time I go there, but they have so many other great options I like to spread the love. The reuben, the club, the chicken salad and the soups are all amazing. Make sure and grab some sweet potato fries with that. \r They make some stellar ice cream treats. There is a smell of fresh baked waffle cones that hits you as soon as you walk in. They are delicious. Try one. My favorite ice cream treat is the salted caramel malt. Wow.\r They used to serve liquor and beer with their soda fountain concoctions. For some reason that has stopped... This place would be unstoppable if they would just get their liquor license back. It isn't that big of deal. Just get it and serve the most unique treats in Oklahoma. more
