Kai Loebach's choice, combination and presentation of the food he prepares is of such tasteful beauty to the senses, that it elicits my whole hearted\r admiration. I was first transfixed by his talent twelve years ago and have since then only used his catering service at every event I've had at my store, for my wedding and several personal and intimate dinners that were held at my home.\r To me he is the god of all caterers because I know that when he takes over an event there are no details spared, because I know that elegance and sophistication will be an essential element. Kai's Amazingly Distinctive Food & Attentive Service Will Make You a Star!!! 4/25/2007

I was a nervous wreck! I was planning dinner for 100 distinguished guests at our home in Nichols Canyon for our wedding anniversary. I had interviewed three caterers and just wasn't satisfied. I was beginning to think that we should move the celebration to a top Beverly Hills restaurant, when someone recommended I contact Kai's European Catering. Within minutes of meeting Kai at our home, I realized that he knew exactly what we wanted, and how to make it happen. What a relief!!!\r \r On the evening of our dinner, Kai and his amazing cast of service professionals dazzled us from beginning to end. If I heard it once, I heard it a hundred times throughout the evening ""Who is the Caterer? Where did you find him? The food is unbelievable!!"" Not only was the food spectacular, but the service was impecable too! I don't usually relax when we have 100 people at our home, but that night it was all there was for me to do. Events at our home have always been wonderful since that evening, as we only call on Kai to take care of it all! You don't have to go to a top Beverly Hills restaurant to get great food! Kai's European Catering makes it all happen where you are!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: Quality, Quality, Quality!!! Cons: Too bad I didn't find Kai sooner! more

Terrific food that is a fusion of the sophisticated and the simple 4/17/2007

Whether Kai Loebach is feeding a mob of art patrons or a group of a dozen friends the results are exceptional. The service is impeccably carried out by attractive and amiable help, the presentation is invariably elegant, and the food is simply wonderful. Clearly there is painstaking attention to every aspect of the meal but the effect is not of intimidating formality, but of congenial sociability.\r \r Inside any menu he devises there are a pleasing variety of kinds of tastes and his ability to combine ingredients in a given dish amounts to genius. For example, to garnish a perfectly seared scallop with foie gras and a dollop of blueberry compote may seem willful, but only until the delicious result is tasted. His take on shepherd?s pie involves mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and ground chicken and is the apotheosis of comfort food. (A child who was served food like this would never leave home.) His desserts, which are often composed of contrasting textures like the smooth and the crunchy, are luscious. Charmingly, he gives each departing guest a single neatly wrapped cookie as souvenir of what has gone before. \r more

Wow, what a find! I recently went to an event that set all others aside.\r Kai's catering is noticeable at first glance as you enter an event organized \r by him. It has a natural elegance and sophistication, inheritant from his \r European background, that makes you feel as if you finally arrived at the \r right place! You can literally taste the love he puts into his craft \r knowledge and culinary art. Since have attended several of Kai's events, and the high standards and quality consistency is impeccable. Kai made his mark in the elite circles of Los Angeles in 1987 and now is one of the most sought after catering geniuses in California. I have attended several intimate dinners and blow-out Oscar parties that all remain unforgettable. Years later, I now hire Kai and his handsome staff to create extraordinary experiences either at my home where he completely transforms it in an incredible work of art. My guests leave with one of his classic cookies now a staple of style when gathering your car at the valet. But moreover, they also never forget the moment spent with he's at the helm. This dude should publish books and share his insights. While his schedule is often full, the the reward of moving a date to choose his services is always worth the frustration of the intial request to get this culinary and style genius named Kai.
