my teenage daughter has been going to kai salon in champlin for about 2 yrs, she's had many hairstyles/colors, we've always been thrilled with the out come! i started getting my hair done at kai salon about a yr ago. i have extremely curly, unruly hair - i've always been embarrassed of my hair so i would cut it myself! no longer, laura is wonderful - i can't wait til it's time for a new do! my 18 yr old son is now a client of ava's, he has hair like mine(poor kid)she did a great job!! more

Every visit my daughters and I have made to Kai Salon has been a positive one! The professionalism and friendliness of the staff are welcome, and I can't imagine going anywhere else! Looking forward to the opening of the Spa! more

Kelsey does a great job listening to my issues with covering my grays but also listens to my wanting to have a color that is fresh and not one-dimensional. She is careful to get it right every time and I appreciate her upbeat and friendly way of interacting with me. I would recommend her to others. more

From the moment you walk in the door until your appointment is finished and your making your next all the staff are kind, friendly and welcoming. My first experience was as a walk-in client and I've continued to return. I've had haircuts, color, highlights and waxing and I've never been disappointed. more

Kai Salon!!!!! 9/29/2011

I love coming to Kai Salon to get my hair cut. It is very relaxing. I look forward to the hot towel and lotion while I wait for my stylist, Kelsey. Them comes the consultaion and peperming oil scalp and shoulder massage. I don't think it gets any better than that. Kelsey is a very professional, respectful stylist. It is always a treat to come in and see her. more

As always, I enjoyed the salon! Hot towel & hand lotion, neck message and cold drink. Great cut, color and style! Very nice stylist! I brought my husband with for a cut too! He looks great and he loved it! Thanks Ava! Andy & Tina more

Staff are always pleasant in person and by phone, and the atmostphere is most relaxing. I've trusted the owner, Laura, with my hair color for almost ten years. Excited to hear of their expansion this fall! more

Service is always consistant. Love my haircuts and color. Laura always asks and listens to what I want. The staff is warm and welcoming. I've been coming to the Salon since it first opened and wouldn't even think about going elsewhere! more

I had my hair cut by Kim and a highlight by Katie! I would go back to both! Kim did an excellent job and paid close attention to detail on my hair cut. She also had great ideas for a stylish cut. Katie was very good at getting my feedback for my color. I walked away feeling like I had excellent consultations and superb service. more

I love Kai. Not only is it less than 5 miles from my house, but I usually can get in the same day I call. I recently had a bad hair cut from a salon down the street, and my hair dresser fixed what was left of my hair. When I left, I felt confident and will always come back. more

Katie had really good ideas when I wanted to color my hair. She was able to come up with some really nice lowlights and balance out the blonde I'd put in for summer. My hair is shiny and pretty and getting lots of compliments. The entire staff at Kai is very helpful and nice and I always leave feeling good. more
