convenient but pricey 12/31/2005

this little shop in the kahala mall is literally packed with upscale baby products. that combined with the location probably contributes the higher price point you'll find. but they do have some cute stuff that you won't be able to find elsewhere. but if you're on a budget (like me), then you'll probably prefer baby emporium, or even, to make the trek out to waipahu to usa baby if the emporium or toys r us doesn't carry your item. i have to say the customer service here can be spotty and on the brusque side, which is puzzling since you would expect differently for this demographic. at times some of the help doesn't seem very knowledgeable about the products as well. more

A local baby shop 12/31/2005

Kahala Kids is in the Kahala Mall Shopping Center and I went there a few times to pick an item for one of my friend's baby. They have a lot of cute and unique items in there. I think leaving their with any gift would be suitable for new borns as well as 1-5 year olds. The price tags can be high but their products are of great quality so I suppose it is worth it. more

Nice Clothing for babies and toddlers 9/9/2005

This clothing store is conveniently located at Kahala Mall. They sell clothing, accessories, toys & gear for babies and kids. This specialty store only sells quality products. A lot of my friends shop for their kid's clothing at this store. Some of them buy baby shower gifts here too. more

Great for kid shopping 8/20/2005

When we are in a bind and can't find a gift for a baby's birthday we head over to Kahala Kids. They have just about anything you would need for a baby or a toddler. Let me give you a for instance, when my kids were learning to walk we wanted to get them some shoes. We tried the national chains but couldn't find shoes soft enough to be comfortable. Well we found what we were looking for, soft leather shoes without hard soles! The kids can feel the floor or ground they are walking on, while providing some protection for their tiny feet! more

Local Boutique & High end Products 7/9/2005

I really like the Kahala Kids store at Kahala Mall for gift buying & when I need something special. They carry many items that are locally made in pretty aloha or Asian prints (namely clothing & swim wear, and unique things like Bjorn carrier covers & car seat covers.) They also have high end strollers & car seats, bouncy seats, and all the needs for a new mom. The maternity line is not just for bumming around the house & offers some great styles. This is a store for Keiki & Mom's who like things with an aloha feel and quality merchandise. You will pay more than Sears or Walmart, but you are getting something uniquely Hawaii &/or high quality. We need more stores like this. more
