Dr. Kagan is absolutely fantastic. He puts his patients first, really listens and is extremely knowledgable. We've been through hospitalizations and surgery with two young boys and have always felt support from Dr. Kagan and his staff. Sharon & Stephanie are great with our kids and so very helpful and understanding with parents. We feel so fortunate to have found such an amazing practice to entrust our children's health to. We, without a doubt, recommend this office to any parent. more

I am a native of South Pinellas County and I saw Dr. Kagan from the time I was born to the time I went to college. He is an awesome doctor that truly cares about all of his patients. He even went in on a Sunday one time to see me when I had a really nasty sinus infection. Also, the Nurse there (Sharon) has been there forever and is super nice and caring. Not to mention his AWESOME South African accent, which is really soothing. All in all, I would definetely recommend him to anyone with kids living in South Pinellas County. more

Simply put: Dr. Brian Kagan is one of a kind! CLASSY, GOOD, old fashioned values, that lead him to being an excellent pediatrician with his patients a PRIORITY! Our children have been his patients since birth,{ages 10 and almost 12} and as parents, my husband and I feel truly grateful to have such an awesome Doctor for our kids. He never fails to be there when needed or provide a competent Doctor to cover if he is not available {this rarely occurs}. His Nurse {Sharon} and office staff are always just wonderful, professional and very caring. He has appeared at hospital in wee hours of morning {when my little girl was very sick} and most doctors would have waited till ""making the rounds""..but that is NOT his way. As a first time mom and also as a nurse-I wanted to be sure I had a good pediatrician. I also wanted one who was NOT in a multi-physician practice. A good friend recommended him and I am so thankful! He is a caring and very knowledgeable doctor and very accessible. No problems getting in to see him, if there is an issue after hours he calls you right back. He is calm, experienced and I have the utmost confidence in him. Thankfully my son has not had many issues but when they did arise they were handled well and comfortably. The same staff has been there for years and that says alot! I could not ask for more in a physician. Pros: Smart, Professional, Caring more

When I was a new mom and my son was fussy after a visit Dr Kagan took the time to follow-up to make sure everything was OK at 8:00 at night. He helped us navigate our way through JRA. Providing understanding, honest, and timely words. His office staff is super helpful when having to handle frustrating insurance issues, and his nurse is top of the line with her bubble gum bubbles that make even the shots a little less stressful. My oldest son was his 5th patient when he started his practice. My two oldest are 25 and 20, if they could still go to him they would. My third is 9. His staff and him are the best. He is very responsive and detailed. He always returns your calls and also call you to check on them when they have been sick. Very personal and caring, no matter what. I have been taking my children to Brian Kagan since they were born. Four years later I am still so amazed at how thorough and particular he is. He is genuinely caring, after hours he returns calls promptly. On several occasions has call me in the late evening to check on the kids progress. I am so fortunate to have found a Doctor who listens and educates me everytime we visit his office. A+ Pros: Caring and serious doctor, clean office. Dr. Kagan is the most wonderful doctor. He is so caring. My children love him. When my first child was sick, I didn't know what to do....I wasn't sure if he needed to be seen or if I should just wait. I called Dr. Kagan's office at 3 in the morning...and he called me back within 10 minutes. His office staff are very friendly and helpful. They are always there when you need them! He is for sure the best pediatrician around! A+++ more
