My husband I have visited Kabuki Japanese Restaurant in Tempe Market Place last Saturday for the first time. I have never seen this kind of decor put up in a restaurant unless we dine out to Scottsdale.'\r
Although we have waited about 20 minutes for a table in a fully occupied restaurant, the hostess was consistently informing of the wait time and exceptionally friendly. The server was also another addition to our great experience for being very knowledgeable of the whole menu and recommending our entree, Chilean Seabass, except for being a little loud when it comes to screaming out, ""irrashai.' After finishing our meal, I have a very interesting talk with the manager on duty. He even spelled out the screaming phrase correctly. He stated that it is Japanese and Kabuki's tradition to say this phrase when greeting customers. Overall, it was fun and valuable experience.
Pros: Very Friendly from All Staffs
Cons: Wait Time of 20 Minutes in a Fully Occupied Restaurant
