Don't be fooled by "5 Star Baltimore Sun Rating" - see end of this review.
Our dining "ordeal" actually deserved 0 stars. We arrived excited to use a Groupon discount for our dinner, were politely seated, and shortly after, ordered our meal. After 35 minutes of waiting, with not a word from the waitress, we asked if she could at least bring us our naan. Ten minutes later: no naan, no dinner. After over 50 minutes of waiting our food arrived cold, dry, and hardly edible, with my Chicken Tikka Masala spiced beyond the HOT zone and cold in temperature. Mind you there were only three other people eating in the restaurant - so here's the deal: the phone was ringing constantly - so there is no doubt a brisk take-out business, but this is no reason for our service and food to have suffered. Okay, maybe it was a bad night...no a horrendous night. The waitress never came over to tell us anything - again remember there were only three other people in the restaurant. We will not be returning and will be telling others to avoid this restaurant where the only thing worse than the food, was the service.
NOTE: Kabab Stop advertises: "5 Stars - Baltimore Sun" - Be warned that the 5 stars are not from a review by the newspaper's restaurant critic, as I'm sure the owner would like us to believe, but from online reviewers (like you and me) on the Baltimore Sun's business listing web search page.
