I highly recommend Dr. Rousseau at Kyd Kyro. We started taking our son to Dr. Rousseau when he was 8 months old and suffering from reflux. We definitely saw an improvement in his reflux after we started taking him to Dr. Rousseau, and I wish I had taken him sooner. My son loves her and she is very gently when doing the adjustments. more

My goal when I first got pregnant with my second son (born in February) was to have a natural and less difficult birth than my first and when I researched, a lot of what I read pointed me to 1.) using a midwife and 2.) the Webster technique in chiropractic care. The Vanderbilt Midwives helped me with that first piece, and thankfully, I found a chiro in Cool Springs at Kyd Kyro (Dr. Rousseau) that is one of the few in the state certified in Webster technique - which is a much gentler and targeted technique for pregnant women. With her great care during my entire pregnancy, I never worried about the typical aches and pains, and she even helped with relieving a lot of the swelling in my feet and loss of feeling in my hands I was having. I was even able to have a prenatal massage in Dr. Rousseau's office by her on-staff massage therapist, Brittany. I ended up having the smooth, all-natural birth I wanted without any complications, and after my son came, I took him to her within the first week for an adjustment for him, and I have never seen a baby so relaxed and sleeping for so long afterwards! He's been a much easier baby than my first, and alot of that I attribute to having him adjusted. I used Dr.R through-out my pregnancy and now have continued to use her for pain relief. I carry heavy equipment for my work and without my visits to Jennifer I would be on the floor. I have been seeing Dr. Rousseau for several months. I started seeing her after conventional medicine did not touch the strain in my lower back. She worked her magic and I felt better immediately. Dr. Rousseau is the best pediatric chiropractor in franklin!!! My 8 month old daughter had her 5th ear infection and we tried antibiotics but nothing seemed to work in fact she kept getting worse. Then we found Dr. Rousseau and after our daughters first chiropractic adjustment our daughter slept through the entire night for the first time ever. The next day she was much better she wasnt screaming anymore and her ear was less inflamed. After her 3rd adjustment, her ear infection was completely gone and our daughter was sleeping through the night without waking up screaming or pulling her ear. Dr. Rousseau was so gentle and great with our daughter. Our daughter was very comfortable with the adjustment. In fact our entire family now sees Dr. Rousseau monthly for wellness and our daughter has not had any further ear infections since seeing Dr. Rousseau. I was about 29-30 weeks pregnant with my twins when I first met Dr Rousseau. My little boy had decided he liked being kicked in the head by his sister, instead of looking at her face. I was planning a natural birth for my twins and to accomplish that, I had to keep both babies head down. I did some research on turning breech babies, and came agross the Webster technique. I was skeptical, because I couldnt imagine that going to a chiropractor would turn my baby around, plus I had never been to a chiropractor before. I felt at ease immediately with Dr Rousseau. She explained everything to me and we talked about some other issues I was having. The first adjustment was uncomfortable, I must say. But after alittle while I felt really great and was able to sleep again. I went back twice that week. Right after my my 2nd appt, and just before my next ultrasound, I felt my son flip. I was elated. By the time I made it to 34 weeks, my little stinker flipped breech again. I scheduled an appt for Nov 13th to be adjusted again and make a plan to make him stay put. I was having alot of hip and leg pain so I was glad to be seeing Dr Rousseau regularly again. I went home after my adjustment, feeling exhausted but fabulously pain free. My OB didnt expect me to deliver anytime soon as I was nowhere near ready, so I figured I had time to get my stubborn boy head down again. To my suprise, a few hours later my water broke and labor began. It came on slowly at first, only contracting every 5-7 minutes, but it was fast and furious by the time I got to the hospital. I had progressed from closed and 0% effaced, to 2cm and 100% effaced in less than 4 hours! I was on my way to a wonderful, fast delivery. I didnt get my natural birth because of unexpected complications from anesthesia, but I believe that I would have, had it not been for that. My twins are now 6 months old and have been seeing Dr Rousseau since they were about 12 weeks old. After their first adjustment, they started sleeping through the night (and continue to do so). They have not been sick and are happy, content babies. I recommend Dr Rousseau to everyone I know (and even random strangers who comment on how happy my babies are) who is expecting or has young babies/children. I am a licensed massage therapist and mother of 5 (not including my husband - ha!). That being said, I have worked with many chiropractors professionally, and I have never met a more knowledgeable nor personable doctor than Dr. Rousseau. She LOVES kids, and they can tell, because my children ADORE her! Dr. Rousseau finds a way to make each of them feel special to her in their own way. She is genuinely entertained and able to laugh with whatever antics they are up to. There is no need for her to have patience with them, because she sees these little beings in a different light than most people, and she treats them with respect and honor. She will not hesitate to get down on the floor with them and play. She loves challenges and doesn't like to treat with medication. She has treated me many times, and I am completely comfortable with her...but more so than that, I am completely comfortable with allowing her to handle my children (ages range from 2 years old to 13 years old). I now recommend all of my clients to her as I know that she will treat them in a manner that is best and independent to that individual. There is not another chiropractor anywhere who I trust more than Dr. Rousseau. She will go from being your doctor to your friend in a very short period of time, because she genuinely cares and wants to see you and your children healthy. She truly is the best. more

Dr. Rousseau is wonderful, she is always pleasant and has always been a great chiropractor to me and my kids!! I came to Dr. Rousseau when I was in my last trimester and my baby was breeched, I was very concerned for my child and didn't think there was anything that could be done, until I met Dr. R. She was very gentle and used a technique called Webster and within a few visits my baby turned and not only was the baby no longer breeched but my labor time was much shorter and less painful. I couldnt believe it!! She adjusted my new born and was very gentle with her. She has taught me so much about the wonders of chiropractic and nutrition. Dr. Rousseau was the reason I was able to work while I was pregnant. I became pregnant with our third child and was unable to take my medication for my migraine headaches. She was referred to me by a friend who said she specialized in maternity and pediatric chiropractic. During my pregnancy I experienced severe pain in my sciatic area. Seeing Dr. Rousseau once/twice a week helped alleviate that pain as well as prevented me from having as many migraines as I would normally. She is also currently treating my 2 month old daughter. I am completely confident in Dr. Rousseau's ability. She was very gentle with me during my pregnancy and she is very gentle with my new daughter. more

Dr. Rousseau has made significant changes with my spinal cord issues. I have never met a Dr. that cares about you as a person and makes it their goal to make your world a better place to live in until I met her. \r She recommends vitamins that are good for you and the best thing about that is that the vitamins are right there for you to buy. Natural is always better than prescription.Man made drugs have made all of our lives worse in one way or another.\r Their office is in a great location!
