K-Swiss Painting

Like the a previous poster I was given an incomplete quote and significantly overpriced. I was initially quoted $200 to start the work and was not aware that when I hired him to do the work that I would also have to play a very high price for his plumber friend. I was charged at least $425 for dryer duct parts would should have never cost that much. I only saw the pricing after the work was completed. I was charged $925 for entire job. I asked a few times during throughout the process how much was this going to cost and Chris kept evading the questions. DO NOT USE HIM!!!! NOT HONEST Filing complaint with BBB. more

I wish that I had read reviews before choosing Chris Williams. I experienced the *exact* same scenario as others--estimate came in low, but he did not include two critical facets -- the cost of molding and payment for a plummer. Moreover, he calls himself an "artist", but the drywall does NOT blend in with the wall. Very disappointing. more

I used Chris Williams and K-Swiss painting for a very minor drywall repair. He pressured me into taking the initial bid and proceeded to charge 8 times that when the final bill came in. Please beware of this company as many others have came forward regarding this same type of shady business practice. more

BEWARE! They are in business to scam their customers. Chris Williams was called in to do a job and provided a quote. At the end of the job the final bill was almost double. He never once came to us to let us know that bill was going to increase. When we began questioning why the bill was so high he took us to small claims court. This was before our 30 day term to pay were up. The judge ruled in our favor since he had no evidence. In my opinion his goal the entire time was to provide a reasonable quote then raise it up and take us to court. He was hoping we would not show so he could receive the entire amount. If we did show we would have to pay the court fees and he would get what was fairly owed. It was a win win for him. I would like to protect others from using his company so they do not have to deal with his dirty business tactics. more

Stay clear of this company if your using an insurance company. I concur with the last review the K-Swiss has some shady dealing. He completed part of work and then tried to double charges without authorization. He has failed to provide final receipt of work.\r He did do good work but do not use if your using an insurance company. more

He is a very unscrupulous individual. We had a need for a dry-wall person due to water damage and he was referred to us by the plumber. We let him know that he would be paid based on our receipt of insurance monies. He said he was ok with that. The insurance took quite some time and did 2 reimbursements. Upon the 1st reimbursement we remitted his respective payment. Before the 2nd reimbursement he took us to small claims court, without notifying us and we had a judgment against us because we were never served. Furthermore, he sued for $977 but the outstanding balance, which he stated..only 1 month prior?was only $521. When asked why the change he replied "because I felt frustrated that his went on for so long". What is a shame is that we never disputed his charge and were going to pay him the full amount upon receipt of the insurance monies. We think he was upset because he asked out on a date my partner and she said no. Perhaps this is partly why he took the course of action he did more
