My experience with K9 Kountry was less than sub-par. I was informed that my dog would be able to properly walk on a leash, his separation anxiety would be addressed and fixed, and was also told he would preform on a 60-70% level when I got him back from the two week board and train program. I would say he's at 30% performance level. He can not walk on a leash without the prong collar I was given, and when he has that collar on, he tucks his tail between his legs and doesn't want to move. He doesn't listen if you don't have food, or even if you do have food, good luck getting him to listen if there is another person or dog present. The second day I had him home and went to work, he decided to break down a door. He was never destructive before I sent him to training. When I picked him up from the training, he had lost weight (his ribs were showing), had uncontrollable shedding as well as dandruff, and a beat up tail to the point where the white fur on his tail was red from blood. I was supposed to receive a video of the training the day I picked up my dog, and when I went to pick him up that Sunday, I was told I would receive it by the following Friday. When I went to K9 Kountry for a meeting (TWO WEEKS LATER) I still had not received the video, and the owner, Butch, had no idea. I feel like I flushed my money down the drain, and I will never recommend someone to board or train their dog with K9 Kountry.
