Had a great time! A friend and I arrived before the dinner rush and we were the only customers in the whole place. He knew exactly what he wanted (Lamb Rogan Josh), so I chose the Thali Non-vegetarian, an assortment of 5 dishes. Some of the samples were spicier than others but they were all delicious. I also snagged some of my friends lamb and it was amazing! This is a wonderful restaurant that I'll definitely go to again the next time I'm in DC. Pros: Location, authenticity, price more

In short: chicken masala, chicken masala, chicken masala! If I say it three times like Dorothy's ""there's no place like home,"" can I be transported to the restaurant? Or better yet, my dining room table? Because Jyoti delivers! (With a minimum purchase that is easily met by ordering one entree and some naan.) After ordering-in several times, as well as eating in their dining area, the Chicken Masala is the dish that will make all your other dining companions jealous because it's so divine. And Jyoti consistently serves food with great flavors, sometimes Indian restaurants are hit-and-miss depending who's on chef duty. Definitely also try the Mango Lassie.
