Finally! I found the right place to go! 8/12/2012

I have been going to Kaivan and Robin for several years. Both have cut my hair and both do an amazing job. It doesn't matter who's chair I sit in, they both know what I want and execute it beautifully! I trust them with both of my very picky teenage daughter's hair as well. Haircuts used to end in tears, but not anymore! more

Kaivan gave me THE WORST haircut I have ever gotten in my life. The two sides that frame my face were not even...not to mention they didn't frame my face! On the right side of my face it looked like he just took scissors and cut straight across. He not only ruined my hair, but he had the gall to speak ill of all of the other hair stylists in the United States. Never, EVER, go to him. He won't even let you tell him what you want done to you, because he is an ""artist"" ( his words, not mine.). Maybe he is an artist and I just ended up looking like one of the works from Picasso. more

Robin did a horrible job on my hair. She charged me over $150 for a simple root touch up and it came out uneven and horrid looking. During the appointment she was rude and catty to me, yet I did see her being nicer to a an older woman. I think that since she is wrinkly and old looking she has a complex towards anyone is younger than her. So, if you are below age 40 and don't want to waste your money on bad service I would not recommend this place. I also think that they wrote all their ""positive"" tips given the fact that this is the only place these ""people"" reviewed. more

Jina is excellent! 5/12/2012

My daughter purchased eyebrow designing for me for mother's day. I have been wanting to get my eyebrows done for years and never got the nerve to do it. Jina was wonderful and put my mind at ease and my eyebrows turned out better than I expected. Right now they look dark but I was rest assured that they will lighten up in a few days. So far I am very pleased with the results and will definitely refer anyone who is looking for permanent makeup to her. more

Wonderful Salon and Personal Service! 5/12/2012

For as long as I can remember I had my Aunt and Cousin do my hair and never really trusted anyone else to touch my hair until I met Robin. I tried a few other hairstylists throughout the years and the results were very unimpressive. I have since moved too far away from my family to go back to them frequently so I was in need of a trustworthy stylist. Recently I came across Kaivan & Robin's website and saw all of the wonderful reviews and I decided to give them a try. Robin was wonderful, warm and friendly. Her and her husband made me feel like family. While she was trimming my hair I had told her I always wanted to grow my hair long and was always told I couldn't. Robin told me that in fact I could and the reason why I was never able to do so was because my hair was not cut properly. I was so surprised that I had been getting my hair cut wrong for years! I am so excited I found them and look forward to years of happy hair styling with them! more

I LOVE JINA ... that being said she is great... i have never had any cosmetic tattoo before and have wanted my eyebrows done for years just never have had it done until Jina. I was so excited and nervous at the same time but she had a very calming effect even with a needle going at my eye ball now my eyebrows are done and i even got the line above my eyelashes to make them look fuller. Now it looked funny the first couple of days ( due to swelling and the color being dark) but after a couple of days it faded and looks great my brows look like i have always wanted them to nice and full and most important shaped WAHOOO so like i said I love Jina she is great ... thank soooo much more

Jina is the bomb! 4/23/2012

This is Robin of Kaivan and Robin Hairstyles. I am writing a review on our site to introduce Jina! Jina is an out of this world permanent make up tattoo artist. Kaivan and I asked her to join our salon AFTER she corrected my previously tattooed eyebrows. For 14 years I have been walking around with one eyebrow different from the other and not knowing it. After reshaping into the correct shape she started fading out the old eyebrow shape and today I not only have perfect eyebrows but everyone thinks I have had work done to my eyes. Since my original session with her I have also had my lip liner done and my eyeliner. Waking up in the morning looking like a soap opera star is awesome! I put on a little foundation some lip gloss and I am out the door! more

I had Robin cut my hair... I went in with terrible split ends, just looking for something to do with it. And came out with fuller, more beautiful hair! Can't wait to get my hair colored today! :) more

Fantastic! 11/14/2011

I usually dread going to the salon because I rarely come out satisfied, let alone happy, with the haircut and/or service I recieve. I was both when I left Kaiven and Robin's, and then some. I left not only with a great style and cut, but I felt like I had made two new friends. Robin listened to me about my concerns with my fine thin hair and helped find a style that framed my face beautifully and made my hair appear fuller. I actually look forward to going back! more

more than great hairstylists!! 10/20/2011

Kaivan and Robin are great! They are true professionals. I have never been to a salon where they take so much time to make sure you are happy. I was going to a salon for years where the stylist told me that I had a place in my hair that couldn't be made to lay down. Well Kaivan took time to listen, and began to work. Now my wife says my hair looks better than ever. And the products they offer realy work and are reasonably priced too. We are clients for life! more

They fixed my butchered hair! 9/21/2011

I have gone to Robin and Kaivan twice. The first time was with a Groupon a friend gave me. And the second was to fix a free haircut, which was worth less than I paid for it. Both of them have cut my hair (which is gorgeous, but happens to be thick, fine, wavy and/or curly depending where you're looking) and I really appreciate their technique. They blend it out really well and make the layers work with my natural wave. On another note: They are fun to chat with. Not boring talk about boyfriends and husbands (of which I am bereft, thank you very much). We talked about working out, Europe, cuisine and culture. Lovely. I will definitely go again. No doubt. more

Great!!! 9/16/2011

I went here looking to replace my stylist of 10+ years. I have long, thick hair and I loved it!!! Kaivan & Robin can actually multitask unlike my prior stylist (they didn't have to stop working to talk with their hands!!) Because of this, I was only there for only 1 hour, not 3!!! I will be going back!!! more

Kaivan and Robin are so wonderful. They have been so accommodating to me. I emailed them at the last minute as I was going to be in Dallas and they fit me in with no problem. I really appreciate that. I live in Tyler and will gladly make the drive. They are both very friendly and listen to what your wants/needs are. Looking forward to seeing them tomorrow. more

My hair is so fine and so difficult to figure out a style for, and Kaivan did a fantastic job on it. It has more body and just feels lighter. And the best part is that he showed me how fix it myself, which has always been an issue when I get a new haircut. I was really happy with they way the outcome. more

Kaivan and Robin are just great! They are a husband and wife team. It is like getting 2 for 1. They have the greatest services. They are so versatile. Just ask and it will be delivered. I love, love, love my hair color that Kaivan chose for me. I just totally trusted him and he did the job! Robin is a sweetheart! She really goes the extra mile! Both are so talented in skin care, make-up, cuts, color and more! But most of all, they are two very kind and warm people. I look forward to my appointments!!!!!!!!!! more

Had a groupon that expired because they stay so busy i had a hard time getting appt. When I called they said not to worry about expiration date. Made appt with Robin and she did a great job. Will definitely go back and check out their new location. Very friendly too. more
