Really Enjoyed 10/13/2010

We really enjoyed our stay at Juniper Springs. Our condo was beautiful and had a very nice view of the pine trees and wild flowers outside our patio. The staff did a great job and there were plenty of eating locations and stores within a short drive. Parking was very convenient and it is nice that the parking is covered. My only complaint is the lack of air conditioning, which was fine during the day but at night we really missed it. If they install air then Junniper springs would be my first choice for Mammoth for sure. more

Excellent service and friendly staff 9/8/2010

Can't get closer to the slopes, great ski in and ski out!! Excellent service and friendly staff. When we want ski in ski out this is our first choice... always... No need to go into town and deal with high prices when you can cook in your room and enjoy their facilities. My favoirte place to stay in Mammoth quiet and close to the slopes!!!! more

Couldn't have been a better result 9/7/2010

For our last minute trip to Mammoth, Juniper Springs was not our first choice but because other places were booked we ended up there. Couldn't have been a better result. Shuttle to/from airport was on time, free and comfortable. They checked us in early. We were advised of free lift tickets for the afternoon of our arrival. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. Free shuttles were available to/from the town in the evenings. Slope convenient ski lockers were great. Breakfast and lunch were convenient, good and next door or on the slopes; however, to stock the kitchen/fridge was a bit difficult eventhough they did have free shuttles to the town's grocery store -- Von's. Now I would go to Juniper Springs before other spots we have been in Mammoth, hands down. more

proximity to the slopes, friendly and helpful staff, and a p 9/2/2010

Juniper Springs Resort delivered on what I love most: proximity to the slopes, friendly and helpful staff, and a panoramic view. This lodge has all the amenities--luxurious linens (duvet!), very comfortable bed and pillows, fully equipped kitchen, free Internet access, tv, dvd player, balcony, windows that can be opened for fresh mountain air, gas fireplace, spacious living area, and a variety of room configurations. The kids loved the game room, the workout room, and especially the outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, The lounge areas have that classic ski resort feel of warmth and comfort--loved the huge fireplace and massive wooden logs used in the decor. There?s nothing like being able to just step outside your lodge and ski right onto the slopes. That?s just what you can do here--lift 15 is located right next to the lodge. You can literally ski in for lunch in your own condo, and then back out onto the slopes. No driving or busing to/from the slopes. You are on the mountain, literally. The lodge staff were always helpful and eager to be of service. The whole look and feel of this lodge is warm, relaxed, and comfortable, very accommodating. more

absolutely LOVED it 9/1/2010

I just got back from a 10 day stay at Juniper Springs and absolutely LOVED it! This is our 4th time to Mammoh from the UK, and we have always wanted to stay here. Great view from the balcony of the slope. We stayed in a good size 1 bedroom apartment with all amenities. There was a laundry room on our floor. Free indoor parking. Outdoor pool, hot tub and barbecue. One of the facilities offered was free shuttle into town, they would drop you off anywhere, and then when you are ready to return, just get the restaurant to ring them and they will come and collect you. Free internet in the room. Cable TV with DVD player. The staff were friendly, and helpful. Great doorstep skiing, at Eagle Lodge. Good snow, beautiful wide runs, and it is on the quieter side of the mountain. No lift queues. You can purchase your lift tickets the the hotel or at the lif ticket desk which is at the base of the lodge. Boot room is OK, lockers are only big enough for skis, so boots had to be taken to the room.It certainly won't be our last trip to Juniper or Mammoth , we had a fabulous time. more

A better experience 8/24/2010

A better experience: The front desk staff were very courteous and efficient. The shuttle service was great when we did not want to drive. The lobbies/great rooms are inviting and comfortable. Multiple hot tubs and heated pools provided relaxation after hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Parking was ample, clean and inside. Robes, towels were ample. Kitchen well supplied. We liked being a little distance from the town center, however teenagers may like the noise of town. Wonderful skiing, great attitude of people there. The drive from SoCal is lot better than sitting an an airport and traveling to Colorado/Utah. The rooms are ample space and a good value. Restraunts are really fun. Still a real mountain experience. more

Beautiful lodge 8/20/2010

Beautiful lodge with nicely furnished rooms and suites, many with terrific views of nearby mountains. Located at the base of Mammoth Mountain with a chairlift within walking distance. Good for large family gatherings. more

Nice, quiet location 8/6/2010

Nice, quiet location away from the crowds at Main Lodge but you're still lucky enough to be right next to the Eagle lift. more
