Not good. They don't really do anything better than any other place would, and some things are just awful. Avoid the shellfish- there was something off in the lobster and the oysters were lukewarm. Very limited beer selection, but the servers are nice. more

I never knew that this place exosted. I went to do a review for a local paper and was really pleased with what I found. WHile the clientele is a bit older, the space is awesome. The food is solid, delicious food and is reasonable. As a matter of fact, the bar food is delish (HUGE Greek salad, ribs, burgers, etc.) and everything is under $10.) Drinks are really reasonable, but the best part is that the outdoor deck (100-feet-long) sits right on the Intracoastal. They do not rush you and you can sit and sip wine, have a bite. Meet the owner, Joseph - he is an absolute doll. Go after 8 pm and the crowd gets younger. It's almost like you can build your oen crowd. Way cool. more

The amazing waterfront view had me at hello! The waterfront dinner I had that night was AMAZING!!!! I had split-pea soup, a ""Maryland Crabcake"", and ""Shrimp Fettucine Alfredo"".....along with the great view, and the phenomenal customer service, the portions were enormous! I had food to eat for the next two days! I recommend it to all seafood lovers of Miami! You wont be disappointed! Pros: Freshest Seafood in Miami! more

The menu here is old school Florida. What I mean by that is that they have a little bit of everything. They have steaks, seafood, italian, pasta, chicken etc. And the food is really good (especially the homemade cheesecake). The only drawback is that by old school Florida I am also representing the average age of the diners in the restaurant. But either way, you are not going to find a nicer spot to dine outside on the intracoastal to watch the boats go by as you enjoy the sunset. more

OK. So I must admit that the amazing water-view nudged me into a 5-star rating, but I have to tell you. The drink that the bartender (and owner himself) suggested ROCKED! I wanted to try something different, so he asked me a few key questions: Sweet or not sweet, carbonated or not, etc. He analyzed my responses and handed me the best drink I have EVER tasted! A chambourtini! (Excuse my spelling, please). It was refreshing, tasty and yes....strong. After a hard day at work, it was so nice to go to a place that had relaxing piano music,a fantastic burger and that drink! I will go here again and again. Pros: Tasty drinks, AMAZING view, personable staff Cons: Valet was a tad bit slow more

Senior Citizen crowd, Smells like mothballs, Food is average, Great Customer Service 9/22/2008

First I have to point out that I did read the reviews stating the clientele of this restaurant was older. I thought possibly the reviewers went on a specific night that was frequented by senior citizens. Nope. This place is definitely the hang out of the local senior citizens of Hallandale Beach. They were taking turns singing by the piano. But, by about 10 pm, the place did clear out and since we were sitting outside, the singing didn't bother us as we were more entertained with the lovely intercoastal view. Pros: Great Customer Service, great outdoor seating, nice views Cons: Much older crowd, bad interior smell, disappointing food more

Senior Citizen Hangout 11/13/2006

The previous reviews are completely misleading. We were looking for a ""date spot"" or a ""romantic spot."" Now, don't get me wrong - I am not an ageist - but , based upon the clientele, this place is not frequented by anyone under the age of 70. Based upon the reviews from this site, we went there on a Friday night for a romantic dinner on the water. Upon our arrival, literally, there was NOT ONE person under the age of 65 in the entire restaurant. Because we were looking for a different type of scene, we chose to go elsewhere. So, I cannot comment upon the food, service, etc. Pros: No idea. Cons: Difficult to get to; AARP hangout. more

Best swordfish ever 8/1/2005

Great experience. Nice greeting at the door. Friendly service. I have been eating simply lately (South Beach Diet) and enjoyed the best blackened swordfish, fresh spinach and sweet potato, felt like a sinner, enjoyed every minute, pretty lady served sparkling water (turned out to be the owners wife) and kept on my Diet. Highly recommended. Pros: Freshest Fish, Excellent service, Not expensive. more
