False Advertising 4/21/2009

Good: Cheap. Bad: Advertisements sent out for months are not honored. Manager acknowledged the coupons had no exclusions but said "sorry" sarcastically, the coupon did not apply to the weekend. We are talking about $2.00 difference. It's not the money, it's the principle!. Improvements: New management, new owners, honest advertising, clean up the place.. Other: I took my two kids to Jeepers! because of their coupon for $5 wristband good for all day rides. When purchasing, I was told weekends are $7, not $5 as was advertised. I pointed out the coupon had NO restrictions. Manager acknowledged this & said sorry "sarcastically". At that point I knew that he was not going to honor his coupon, so I balled it up and tossed it on the counter and said that I would not be back. As I was leaving with my kids, he then yelled out 'we don't want your kind here any ways".. more

They need to remodel. Worn out, hazardous and DIRTY 7/16/2007

At the entry the flooring is so worn out. They really need to remodel. Almost seems like they are closing down. The rides are dirty and some are not safe. The area where kids climb in tubes is worn out, so the wood and nails are visible and can hurt any kid and yes they are gross inside. They have never been cleaned. I guess they depend on kids to touch everywhere so that its cleaned up. The place is very empty. They have this HUGE birthday party area and it was all empty. It was a weird feeling. They don't get too many customers and I can see why. But as a result they don't have enough staff. So if you pay and get stuck there you have to wait till someone shows up to turn the ride on. Food court was pretty dirty with a few roaches to give you company. We decided not to eat there. Amazing Jakes is much better place as compared to this. more

Fun for kids, reasonably priced, dirty 10/14/2005

Jungle Jim's Playland is a reasonably priced pizza play place. Upon entering Jungle Jims they give wristbands to everyone and have a security guard at the door to see that kids don't leave the building alone and leave with their parents. I thought this to be a great safety measure by the company, and give them kudos for caring about their customers. Prices for pizza, and for the rides are a good bargain. Rides which cost tickets include, bumper cars, carousel, spinning apples (were they apples or something else?), tiny kid's roller coaster, and small train ride. Each ride takes a specific number of tickets ranging from 1-4 and can be bought at the pizza counter. I would say that this location is great for Elementary kids and toddlers. There is a very small area for the toddlers next to the jungle gym and also a pretend train that older toddlers can climb on. There is also a large jungle gym for kids to play on which is free. The coolest part of the jungle gym is the long roller slide that all the kids seem to love and enjoy. THis place is fairly large and offers great amount of seating room near the pizza area. Right next to the jungle gym there are some seating areas, but it never seems to be enough. BUT you get to be close to the gym so that parents can watch their children. There is an okay selection of redemption games, and their prizes are fair, similar prizes to Fiddlesticks, and Mesa's Golfland. While Jungle Jim's resembles a carnival with their rides, so does the interior cleanliness. The carpets are worn down and look grundgy, rides and play areas need a good deep cleaning, and tables need to be cleaned down faster by employees. The fun selection of rides for kids is great earning 4 stars out of 5, but the cleanliness of the interior and the quality of the food earn itself 2 stars out of 5. Averaging to 3 stars out of 5 more

not very clean 8/13/2005

This place would be a great place to go with the kids for a fun time if they could keep it clean. I never would have known how dirty it was if my husband hadn't went up into the tubes one time to get my daughter. He said it was so gross and dirty that he went right to the restroom to wash the kids' hands. The food is good and the kids enjoy the rides very much. The prizes are the same quality as all the other pizza places. more

So fun for the kiddos!!!! 8/12/2005

Every trip to Az we stop here. It's such a great place for kids. There's an indoor play area for different ages and games and rides if you want topay. It's nice and cool which is so important in the hot Az summers! You just can't beat a fun place for kids thats free! Caution though...large groups go so it can be quite caotic so watch your children closely and try to keep the 12yr olds out of the place for 2yr olds to play more
