June Bug

Today was the day I was finally able to get to Junebug Cafe for lunch, a trip that has been eagerly anticipated. I had been in once before for a bubble tea and, while the service had been a bit slow, I found the people behind the counter to be reasonably friendly and enjoyed my beverage. Today was a vastly different experience. The place was very quiet when we arrived. My boyfriend and I ordered two panni sandwiches and were told it would take 15 minutes (to be expected, I know pannis take a while). 35 minutes later the less-than-friendly girl behind the counter shoved our food across the counter toward us without a word. The sandwiches were small (for almost $8 a piece), and soggy. My veggie sandwich was missing 2 ingredients that were listed in its description. Overall very disappointing, will not return to this establishment. Cons: terrible service more

Is it that hard to smile? Seriously. I was treated as though I insulted her mother. I asked how much the egg sandwiches were and she said, ""Look on the board."" I told her the prices weren't on the board. Then the phone rang. She answered it and began having a conversation. When I tried to make my presence known, she put a finger up in my face. In my mind I entertained turning over all the tables and calling her every awful name in the book...even the c word. My stomach talked me out of it. I am a regular at Junebug Cafe and love coming here for coffee/tea/food/snacks - and I really want them to stay in the neighborhood - BUT... Pros: Great menu Cons: Lousy Service more

I went with a friend, who despite the incredibly rude counter-girl, ordered coffee and some food. She enjoyed both, but the coffee was only filled less than 3/4 of the way, thanks to the less than apt server. After seeing how my friend was treated, I declined to spend my money there and will not be going back. Cons: SERVICE more

I sat on the computer for severals hours trying to find a nice coffeehouse where I can drink coffee and do my college homework. I wanted a place that was simple and easy to get to. I found June Bug. Great atmosphere, laidback and. Though there werent' many people there at the time, I found it to be comfronting there. The young lady working the coutner was friendly and very down to earth and was more than happy to hold up a conversation. The coffee was great and there was plenty of table space for me to spread my papers across. I had ordered a Roast Beef sandwhich that was excellent. Highly would suggest!!!
