I had never been to the mall and decided to check it out. The sign beckoned me and in I went. Angel, the receptionist greeted me warmly and made me feel at home. Diana was introduced to me, refreshements and the bathroom were offered, hands were shook and we were on our way.
She listened to me and we also discussed color to jazz up my hair a bit. After weighing out my options, I decided just the haircut for now, I wasn't sure I wanted to part with another $100+ for the color just yet. But then she shampooed me and I melted, it was one of the best shampoos I've ever had. Based on that alone, I went for the color. There was a confidence in her touch and I loved it when she told me she would answer all my questions later, but for now, I should just relax and enjoy it. She was right, it was great.
She took her time discussing the color and the cut and I plunged into it glad that I had the afternoon free and her schedule permitted it. The entire time she educated me on how to take care of the style, what products to use and didn't spend time asking about kids, jobs, travels etc. She did her job as a professional stylist and I applaud her.
I liked the results and the co-owner, Saverio came over to see if I liked it. Only then did I tell them both that I had been a salon owner before I became a professional, comic, speaker and author. He was nice enough to give me a neck and shoulder rub as we chatted and that just topped off the experience. Another employee even said goodbye to me before she left even though we hadn't talked. They had a great team feeling there and were very professional. I am glad I stopped in that day and you will be happy with your results if you go there too.
Thanks for doing your job so well!
