My skin was out of control after a 13hr flight.. I finally decided that it was time for me to get a facial. JuJu was the closest to me and so I went there, really, with no expectations. To my surprise, it was the best facial I had ever receieved. I can't recall what my facialist's name was... ah... wish I could because I would recommend her to everyone!\r \r My skin was GLOWING. everyone was complimenting me on how well I looked after. more

First, it is nice to see they are a full organic spa. Knowing that, I was excited to get a facial. I got the hot stone massage which was incredible. The music is relaxing, the atmosphere is relaxing, the people who work there are knowledgeable and very friendly. Very professional. My facial was also incredible and I felt like a brand new woman afterward. Also, they weren't pushing to buy their products. I live in NY and when I venture to Philly again I will definetely make another appointment. They also send a thank you card and take the time to personalize it, making you feel like they really appreciated you as a customer. Thank You for a first time wonderful experience. more

I always leave JuJu feeling amazingly refreshed and rejeuvenated.. the massages are awesome, the people are great and really create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Facials and waxing are great too. i am a repeat customer at this philly gem. staff is friendly and accommodating. treatments are splendid and products are quality natural goodness. i am especially a fan of the suki and dr. alkaitis product lines. juju also has a salon several doors down. i highly recommend. more

first visit to this particular spa was due to a mother's day present. went there because it was the closest organic spa around. wasn't sure what to expect, but from first entering to leaving, my mother and i were treated to a day of heaven. i had the best facial i have ever gotten. my mani and pedi were also excellent. they used a moisturizing seaweed mask on my hands and believe me , my hands were so soft after and for weeks after also. we were so comfortable. they also had products available and they were very knowlegable about them without ever being pushy to buy them. although i live in boston, i make sure to make it to juju every time i visit my family in philly. more

Went to Juju Spa for the first time today. What a fantastic vibe in this place. From the minute you walk in every person there makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Had a 60 minute massage with Belle. I have had numerous massages over the years, ranging from low-end to high-end luxury spa treatments and today's treatment was truly one of the best I've received. The downstairs massage room was exceptionally beautiful, warm and relaxing. Belle was incredibly skilled. I came in with several painful knots in my shoulder and back from extended time at my computer this week and she worked them out perfectly. I was so happy with my treatment I booked another massage and a facial before I left. Can't recommend this place enough - it's terrific. They've instantly become my new favorite spa in the city. Okay so everyone knows how awkward and painful a Brazilian wax can be. I have to say that I have never had such a great waxing experience! Renee did my brazilian, it did not hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would and she made me feel so comfortable. I can honestly say that I actually enjoyed the time I spent with Renee and almost forgot why I was there! I would recommend juju for any body waxing, especially Brazilians. Pros: soy wax more

This morning I experienced a real treat at JuJu Spa & Organics. I received a gift certificate for a facial for my birthday which I eagerly looked forward to redeeming. I was not disappointed. From the moment I entered this beautiful and warm environment I felt comfortable and if I may say even nurtured by the atmosphere and the very friendly staff. In order to describe the service I must tell you that I am always torn between a massage or a facial but of course in the interest of my skin I have had many facials but I always prefer the sheer pleasure of a massage so I will tend to put the facial off....never again. It was absolutely the best facial I have ever had. At the outset the table was heated and extremely comfortable. Very quickly I can tell you that I did not want this experience to ever end and this is because of several factors. Besides getting a wonderful facial, trust me, I am glowing, (their produst are all natural and organic so they are wonderful for my sensitive skin) you also get your head, shoulders, arms and feet massaged.....voila. Renee had a wonderful touch throughout and I would highly recommend her because the combination of practitioner, environment, facial and massage brought me to a level of relaxation that I haven't felt for awhile. Last Sunday I indulged myself with a 90 minute specialized facial at JuJu Spa and Organics with Renee. I have gotten many facials at various Spas throughout Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, NYC, and even several in Europe. I am taking the time to write this review (which is something I normally do not do), because the Spa experience at JuJu is hands down the best I've ever encountered. My skin feels reborn. My rosacia is no longer noticable and the fine wrinkles around my eyes and lips are gone. After having my daughter I developed waxy deposits below the skin's surface which make my face look bumby. Even these bumps (which a dermatologist told me I could do nothing about) look smoother and way less noticable. Following the facial, I purchased the suki line of skin products to recreate what Renee did for me during the facial at home. I have been using the suki products now for one week, and I kid you not, I have received 5 (and counting) unsolicited compliments on my skin from coworkers, friends and even one from my husband (he rarely notices anything). Wife and I tried Juju for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Brook is amazing! She managed to satisfy me AND my better half, which is a rare thing because I like a very firm massage and my wife prefers more finesse. Usually if we go to the same masseuse either I end up saying it was wimpy or the wife says she felt manhandled - this time we both came out glowing. I'm new to shiatsu but I have to say I think I'm a convert now - the massage felt great, and the good feelings have lasted longer than they usually do. Prices at Juju are also quite reasonable, so I feel like this is a habit I can afford to develop. We've treated ourselves at a number of spas since we moved to Philly a few years ago, and Juju is the best we've tried. I'd definitely recommend it. JuJu is everything a spa should be -- beautiful decor, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service!! Laura's facials are amazing and leave your skin looking great (even if your skin, like mine, is in terrible shape to start with)! Laura is very professional and immediately makes you feel comfortable, especially if it is your first time getting a facial or if you are self-conscious about your skin. I have never been treated so kindly at a spa. The staff is so friendly and down-to-earth. I was so excited for juju to open it's spa in September! i had heard that they would be offering Traditional Shiatsu treatments...and could not wait to get one. I had had it one other time in California...and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Most places around here offer a boiled down shiatsu treatment on a table...but not juju! Brooke spent time using TCM diagnostic methods to identify my imbalances...and I left feeling like a new woman! I highly recommend this amazing service. I was given a gift certificate for my birthday and chose an Everyday Organic Facial with Renee. I had heard great things about juju and Renee's facials so I was very excited. I get facials pretty regularly but I have never experienced anything like this!!! It was amazing from the second I walked in the door to the sad moment I left the spa. Everyone working there was friendly, nice and knowledgeable. Hands down the BEST facial I have ever had. The products were not only natural and organic but also very results driven. My trip was well worth it because the massage was perfect and I was treated very well by the entire staff.
