When my husband and I saw the sign we knew it was Texans... Nashvegans don't know who Judge Bean is... having grown up in West Texas, I knew that this was going to be a good day to dine. Portions are huge, potato salad is AWESOME as is the brisket and sausage. The only ""self-serve"" thing is your drink. The color is PERFECT... dark color on the outside, the tell-tale pink ring inside, getting hungry just thinking about it. Plenty to eat, see and listed to at the Judge's. We have some fellow transplanted Texan friends, and this is where we go when ever we are longing for some real food. AND, if I hear from one more person how much Texas has to thank Tennessee for their independence...I am going to scream. Personally I thing it was the BBQ that drew them all to the promised land...just my opinion.
Pros: food, atmosphere, prices
Cons: parking, BYOB
