Moved to Nashville from Mesquite, TX 12 years and missed bbq beef until a friend of mine introduced me to Judge Beans over a year ago. Now, when I want great BBQ I leave my quaint area in Franklin, TN and dine in at Judge Beans. Smoked brisket and the Texas sushi (shrimp wrapped in bacon, has a kick) is my wifes favorite. Good eatin'. No self service, don't know where one of the reviewers got that from, they bring the food to the table. Folks need to get their restaurants straight. Good place to impress company. My wife complained her tamales were dry...but it's a BBQ joint!
