CLOSED 4/28/2008

I believe this place is either closed for rennovations or for good. Either way, I'm not complaining. They did have hit-and-miss winners and losers on the menu, but the staff was apathetic at best unless you were somehow 'in' wth the owner. Very dark and almost depressing interior - like a spartan chinese restaurant. Nice little patio out back - hopefully someone buys this place and transforms it into a nice local restaurant. more

you will not be jubilante if you eat here 9/1/2007

Food is worse than something you would whip together at home; menu doesn't hang together -a collection of menu items that have nothing in common. service is friendly but unprofessional. more

Best Live Entertainment Venue 10/11/2006

I like the ambience, and the layout of the place. There is wine/bar section, a special VIP-type room in the back for small private party or intimate dining, there is an outdoor patio seating area, there is plenty of seating at another bar looking into the kitchen area, there is a nice big stage and the main part of the restaurant is very spacious. The food is great, especially the filet mignon was tasty and tender, the cheesecake was good too. Moreover, was the entertainment, great musicians, just a great place to hang out on a Friday night after a long work week. more

Off the beaten path and perfectly charming 1/16/2006

Jubilante is a wonderful restaurant with great food, outstanding service and live jazz music. The wine list isn't extensive but has some nice selections. The menu is selective as well but every item on it is superb. Great spot for a relaxing night or a romantic evening. I had trouble finding the website so here you go: http://www.jubilante-restaurant.com Pros: Live Jazz, Food, Service Cons: Out of the way more

Secret Greatness in Renton 3/16/2005

Most people may not know of Jubilante in Seattle, but it's a great "find"! This place has got some of the best jazz rolling through town, only 10-20 minutes away from Seattle and 10 - 20 minutes away from Bellevue. Great food, Great ambience...almost surprising for Renton. Great job Jubilante...Cheers to more people discovering you! Pros: Ambience, Music, Drinks & Food more

Great ambience! 4/25/2004

One of my favorite romantic spots! If you want to relax with your sweetie in candle light and live jazz then this is the spot! No entry fee! On late Friday and Saturday nights the lights dim down low and the music emerges. Unlike many restaurants where the live band is a touch to the background, the music here is the center of attention with talented groups touring through (check thier schedule). The staff may be short, but are very friendly and courteous. I have never been impressed by ANY restaurant's food, but have no complaints here with Jubilante. Food quality is good for the price. Live music and the ambience are essential to true romantic dining, and Jubilante has it. Pros: Bands till midnight, Candle Light, Small but not cramped more

Good food - Not enough waiters 1/21/2003

We visited this restaurant for the first time, which was Friday 1/17/03. I ordered the beef stroganoff served over penne, which was great, and my wife had their special, which was crab in a cream sauce over pasta, which was even better. Their cab sauv house wine was excellent. The wait staff was very friendly, but our coffee was cold by the time we got our dessert, and we had to ask for cream a few times. The decor was nice, but we sat against the wall and kept bumping the sillouette decorations which hang down too low. Pros: good food, good wine, live jazz Cons: slow service more

wonderful night 10/6/2002

My first time in the restaurant last Friday night, great service, good food and wonderful latin live music band. I'll be back... more
