BAD FLOWERS 4/17/2010

Good: The call taker was efficient, polite, and knowledgeable. She honestly told me that different filler flowers would have to be used. I had told her the arrangement I wanted based on an internet picture.. Bad: When we arrived at the funeral home, we were embarrased. The flowers looked wilted, and nothing like the picture.. Improvements: No improvements are recommended, as we will not be using Joy's again.. Other: We spent seventy eight dollars for flowers, tax, and surprisingly a delivery fee to a local funeral home.. more

DO NOT ORDER ON THE INTERNET 3/10/2009

Bad experience. Ordered flowers on the internet Thursday eve. to be delivered Saturday afternoon. They left message Saturday morning saying they did not have right color. Arrived at funeral, no flowers. Funeral home called florist, no response as of Monday! I telephone and was given runaround. Promised to have owner telephone, still waiting. more

Beautiful flowers 1/5/2009

Good: I called from out of town to send my niece roses & carnations for her 18th birthday. The clerk spent 15 minutes with me choosing a combination. Gorgeous flowers arrived that day & thrilled my niece.. Bad: Only 16 flowers were delivered, and they were left on the front step in the rain rather than on the covered back porch as requested. But I got a prompt apology and refund for the missing flowers.. Improvements: Just more care in following instructions. Great customer service, beautiful flowers and arrangements, ample selection.. more

Emma's Flowers and Gifts are located in the heart of the Vanderbilt district. They are easily located; everybody knows where they are. I simply love dealing with this place, as they are the best. I have used them on numerous occasions and have never been displeased. Their store is remarkable. It's nice and clean, and it's really a cool place. They specialize in anything you want; that's right. They will make anything you need or want. Just tell them the likes and dislikes of a person, and they will take it from there. more

Just as the commercial says, Emmas is the Superlative Florist. This is NO Lie nor any exaggeration. Emmas is the cream of the crop. You can count on them to create exactly what you order, in whatever price range you want. They are located right in the heart of West End Avenue - in the Vanderbilt district. They will deliver anywhere though. They are used often for hospital deliveries. Their service is impeccable! more

Beautiful floral designs 3/24/2006

Emma's is a wonderful florist in the Vanderbilt area. When I was in the hospital, my husband (then fiance) sent me an arrangement from Emma's, and it was just stunning. He just told them my favorite color was pink, and that I didn't like roses, and they did the rest. I got a stunning arrangement of pink calla lilies, pink gerbera daisies, pink stargazer lilies, and pink tulips with all kinds of beautiful green accents - bells of ireland, etc. No ugly filler at all, and the arrangement didn't look too "arranged." I also used Emma's for a delivery for my mom, and I couldn't have been more pleased. They did a great sunflower arrangement that was just beautiful. Very unusual and unexpected. more

Creative designs 3/23/2006

My husband has sent me flowers from Emma's after the birth of our child and for my birthdays. Each time the flowers have been fresh and the designs breathtaking. People always comment on what gorgeous flowers I've gotten. He's bought me lots of flowers over the years and these are definitely my favorite! more

Nice place. 8/6/2005

Emma's flowers always has a nice selection of flowers to give. The store is located on West End, so it is convenient to downtown as well as the smaller suburbs west of the city. I have received several bouquets, corsages, etc. from Emmas, and have always appreciated how nice they look and how long the last. I've called to ask questions in regards to delivery, costs, etc. and the staff at Emma's have always been more than helpful answering my questions. more

Flowers from the garden 8/4/2005

Joy's will make you up a special arrangement for your recepient. Their flowers are beautiful and you can tell they take their time with each arrangement to make it perfect. They deliver at the last minutes notice and are also an FTD florist. The shop also carries some unique gifts you can add with your arrangement. The choices of gifts and flowers at Christmas is amazing. You must go in during the holidays and check it out. more

Emma's is one of the best florists you can find in Nashville. Their arrangements are unique and high class, with beautiful, fresh flowers and some you won't see anywhere else. Delivery is quick and the store is very convenient to downtown and near local hospitals. They will take delivery orders and credit cards over the phone. more
