Please take time to read, We recently were married and had contacted Joyce Merck Florist locally to do the Flowers for our Wedding and Reception. After contacting the SJoyce Merck Florist and setting an appointment, My bride to be and I met with one of the technical floral planners face to face at their place of business to discuss plans and delivery of our arrangements and flowers. We were quoted an outline with costs and delivery fees. Our requests for what features we wanted provided were very ""Specicific"" and ""Sketched"". We had listed and agreed with the representative who took our order, exactly what we would like for the wedding bouquets and arrangements for the Wedding and Reception Dinner. Speaking only on value and service, we were shocked and completely dissappointed to receive the Bouquets for the Bride and Bridesmaids as they had all been taped with Scotch Brand Tape and all the Flower arrangements were less than supermarket shelf quality inventory. Our Centerpiece for the Reception Dinner basically came in a fishbowl you would most certainly throw ping pong balls at the Fair to win a Goldfish. I am almost certain the Joyce Merck Florist representative and florist internally may have received training in how to disconnect with your customer while still extracting their Money. I have witnessed many wedding and social events on all levels, but do not think in review I have ever seen such a poor quality of flowers or presentation on what is supposed to be a special occasion for the marriage of two people. Considering price and value I would only submit to any perspective customers who read Reviews. Please shop elsewhere and find better value for your hard earned money somewhere else. You are wasting your time to purchase Flowers or Arrangements from this local supplier. FACT more

Dead Flowers Joyce Merck!! My boyfriend is a firefighter that works 48 hours straight and had flowers delivered to me at work. As soon as the delivery boy handed me flowers, I started picking out the dead ones. I didn't want to hurt my boyfriend's feelings, so I decided to stop into the shop and have them replaced before he got home from work. From the moment I walked in the door, the owner was a WITCH. Overnight the flowers had gone from bad to worse and she said they were thirsty and it was my fault. She continued to argue with me and blame me for the way the flowers looked and told me maybe I shouldn't be receiving flowers if I can't take care of them. They should last more than 24 hours, especially coming from a florist. I told my boyfriend about the situation and he called 3 times and left a message and got no response. I was horrified at the terrible customer service and the poor quality of flowers. We will be sure never to use them again. more

NEVER DELIVERED - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: I have recently placed an order with Joyce Merck Florist for one dozen roses and six cupcakes to be delivered to a residence in Oakwood, Georgia. The product was never delivered to the residence. I have repeatedly tried to reach the florist to resolve the issue with no avail due to screening of phone calls. After calling from a different telephone number, my call was immediately answered and the representative from the florist shop said that she would contact me by email to verify delivery confirmation. I was advised to call back if I had any other issues and leave a message and my call would be promptly returned. Needless to say, the confirmation email never came. To this date, I have left four voicemail messages with no returned phone call or any attempt to confirm delivery to say nothing of failed attempts to reimburse a dissatisfied customer for goods that were purchased and never received. Another attempt to contact the florist was made again, calling from yet another phone line and the call was this time answered. As soon as I verified my identity, the same representative I had previously spoken with at the florist stated "I know who you are. I am avoiding your calls because you are rude." The call was promptly ended. I have only been adamant in seeking resolution to the florist's inability to deliver their product and to follow through with "claims" of customer service. I have since filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and have contacted MasterCard who will be reclaiming the funds from the merchant for a full reimbursement. I suggest others do the same since reading through the company ratings, this is not their first offense false deliveries as well as poor business practice and awful customer service. The biggest advice I can offer is to AVOID THIS Joyce Merck Florist FLORIST ALLTOGETHER!!!! more

DEAD FLOWERS!!! 8/28/2010

Never Ever use the business!! I ordered flowers for my mothers birthday last week and they totally never sent it. I called just to ask what happened to my order and I was immediately told my 65 year old mother was a liar!!! I have never been treated so badly in my adult life. So, after repeated attempts on the phone I went in to the florist. What a big mistake!! The mean woman in the back started yelling at me from the back she never even came up to the front to see me. Then Despie came up front and told me that if I didnot leave they would have me arrested!!!! All I wanted was for the Flowers to be delivered. I did not even want my money back. I had to complain to the better business bureau & my credit card company just to even get a $5.00 refund for my $85.00 order!!! I hope no one ever uses Lanier Florist they are HORRIBLE! more
