Awesome. I usually have frizzy, difficult hair, but I left with smooth, glossy styling and love it! I took a tip from a friend and scheduled a hair conditioning service (she gave me some type of gift card) and enjoyed my visit so much! I may take a leap next time and try the hair straightening service. more

What a gem! I discovered the salon from a tip from my sister and was totally surprised by the visit. My sister's hair looked great and I wanted to try a new place (my hair hasn't been wonderful since moving into Texas... had not found a place I'm comfortable with), but after going to Jovie Salon I feel I've found the right place. They took real time to understand what I've been unhappy about with my hair and gave me the color and haircut I hoped to leave with. I am so happy and will send my husband to go now too. more

Great place! Driving by on the way home from work and thought I would get a quick haircut. I was surprised by how pleasant it was, they offered me a drink, I got a great cut, and I was very happy with the stylist. I recommended the place to my wife and will go back again. more

My wife and familty have been going to this salon for years now and they have always been more than great. I'm pretty easy and stick with a business cut (short and tight), but I feel my stylist does a good job. My wife is absolutely crazy about her stylist and she does more adventurous things with her style. Really, a terrific place. Thumbs up more

Ladies BEWARE!!! I walked into this salon liking my hair. Simply needed a trim; walked out with hair that needed another haircut to FIX the 'trim'!!! The stylist at Jovie confirmed my trim request, yet then went off with her own mental 'Picasso' pic! She apologized profusely after the botch, saying 'well now that I know you better and what your preferences are-"" when initially, SHE WAS TOLD EXACTLY WHAT MY PREFERENCES WERE. After a haircut massacre, management says 'PAY UP' but then offer a complimentary service the next time that you're in (as if that's going to happen...) Truly, the service isn't worthy of ONE STAR- more

So I went to Jovie after reading good reviews on this site. All in all the experience ended well but not without quite a bit of problems. I went in and explained at leangth what exactly I wanted as far as the cut and style. The girl did not listen at all! She did a terrible cut and I had to keep reminding her to do things that I had asked for. The styling was also very very bad. I left the salon super upset. And once I got home and looked at the cut I saw it was totaly uneven. With no layers cut in which is why I was haing it cut! So I called the salon and explained how upset I was. The manager called me back within minutes and said I could come back in at no charge to fix it. When I returned to the salon the were super nice and a diffrent stylist re-cut and styled it beautifully. So if you do go and your stylist is not listening just ask for another stylist. The others were great its too bad that one stylist is bringing them down. more

This is a great salon....I've been coming here for a few years now and always have a great experience. My color and cuts are always great! There is three levels of pricing to accommodate everyone. If you are in the area or live near Allen....I recommend trying Jovie. more

First of all, this is a great salon! In Allen, there are a lot of choices and I have experienced them all- from the moment I walked in to see the salon I was greeted by the receptionist and given a glass of great tasting water. Then, received a great consultation! This is my 5th time going to Jovie, each time, before my color and cut service, We go through a thorough consultation to make sure the results are as fabulous as before. I would and do refer people to Jovie, Just give it a try you'll love it as much as I do. more

I work in Allen and live in Dallas... I needed my hair colored, cut and to be revamped. I heard about Jovie from a co-worker and decided to make an appointment.... I was greeted at the door with cucumber lemon water (yum) and asked many questions about what I wanted, things I would change and liked. Then received a total upgraded look! New color, more easy to maintain and an excellent cut! I also love their organic product lines + + +! I will definitely be going back... Thanks Girls! more

I have lived in Allen a while now and was going to a familiar salon in Allen, but had a few bad experiences. I decided to see what else was around my area and came across Jovie salon. Right as I walked in to see the salon I was greeted with a smile. I scheduled an appointment and wanted a change but not to drastic. I got the perfect color highlights (low maintenance!) all over color and a great cut. I appreciated how everything was explained from the color to the products going in my hair. Anyone from Allen or surrounding areas should get such an experience! more
