Joslin & Son Signs

Joslin & Son Signs has provided signage for me on two occasions- once for my internship and now for my sorority's recruitment. Their product is always looks fantastic and professional, and they have awesome customer service. They are always willing to help, and are extremely time efficient. We have used them several years in a row now for our recruitment and will continue to use Joslin & Son. Thanks guys! more

I have seen Josloin ads on TV form many years and was alos referred to them from a realestate agent friend of mine. I needed some signs for an open house. Adam and Jon helped me pick out signs in my budget and they were completed when they said thy would be and at the price they quoted. I was very pleased nad will be using them again. more

I had heard great things about this company and I see their trucks all around town. So naturally, I assumed I would recieve great service and a great job at Joslin. I hate to admit it by I was wrong. We have been working with them for over a month now on a simple project of two small signs. Neither sign is very fancy or hard to do. In fact, the first day I went in I was pleased with the interaction I had with J.C., however since I walked out the door it has been a different story all together. I realize that Joslin is a large company and are probably not worried about a small job like mine. However, anyone that has ever been in business knows that small jobs lead to big jobs. The company I work for is one small part of a very large company, but needless to say they will not be recieving anymore of our work. I still have yet to recieve my sign, due to the lack of care or attention to detail I have been provided by J.C. I have called many times and always seem to get sent to his voicemail with no return of my call or if it does get returned it is a week or so later and he has no clue what I wanted. I finally recieved the invoice I had been asking him to send me for over a month today. I just hope more attention to detail was paid to the sign than I was. I cannot speak for the rest of the company, but J.C. ruined my opinion of Joslin's. more

Over priced! There work sucks! Took forever to get my sign. After I got my sign it went out within 3 months. I called and tried to talk to Joslin and after they took my money for the sign I was no more then a number and they never fixed my sign after waiting months. I ended up calling around town and found a GREAT sign company called AUSTIN PRODUCTS INC. Larry at Austin helped me with all my needs. Fixed my sign and because he was so helpfull I decided to have a new sign made and it was made right and very nice. His design was wonderful and just what I wanted. Thanks Austin Products Inc. for all your help my new sign raised my sales at my store! more

Everyone at Joslin's was so helpful!! Andy helped design my sign and it was by far better than what I could have imagined! It was also done so quickly, it was made within two days! I had dealt with another sign company in town and they really didn't know what they were talking about, very inexperienced! Joslin know the sign business, they were awesome!! Best place in town!! more

I was given a quote by Clyde, they came out and worked on my sign. I could not tell if the sign was on or not during the day but at night, it wasn't on. They sent me a bill blowing my quote by 40% (without letting me know they were going over the quoted amount first). Pros: They can cash a check Cons: Sign still broken more

I will update this if it is resolved. After waiting over 5 weeks like the comment above the job is not complete, and I'm having to get after the company to find out why I'm being ignored. In my case this was for some repairs. I was given a price and time quote originally, after having dropped off the signs. The repairs were to be done in two weeks. However, a week later I was called and the price was increased 10%. I gave it my blessing, but after an additional four weeks have heard NOTHING. At this time I'm still in the dark. I want to assume this is not typical, and give them a chance to make it right. After seeing the other reviewer who had similar problems I have to wonder. Pros: Friendly staff when you visit in person. Cons: No communication, job not finished after a long wait. more

I received a quote on my sign 5 weeks after my initial request to Joslin Signs. FIVE WEEKS! In that time, I had one sign company approach me with a respectable quote, and I contacted one other sign company myself who sent back a quote in 4 days. Just because they claim to be one of the oldest sign companies in the Nashville area does NOT mean they are the best. Take it from me, Joslin Signs will not take your situation into consideration on a sign deal. Go elsewhere. Bobby Joslin is behind the times technologically and customer service-wise.
