The fellows at Joshua Tree initially came out to take a look at our property, and they seemed like nice, good people to work with. However, when the salesman came to take a look, he gave us conflicting information to what the initial guys told us. They had different recommendations for our problem, so that sort of dampened our enthusiasm of them. We have been using them for two years so far, and although the quality of work has seemed good enough, we are not sure if we will keep them for the long run. I would suggest to others that they get a couple of different opinions before going with Joshua Tree, Inc. Don't take their word as gospel.
RESPONSE FROM Joshua Tree, Inc.:
Rick, we couldn't agree more with what you said: No one's word/recommendations should be taken as gospel. Joshua Tree commends our clients for getting several opinions and proposals when selecting a firm to care for one's property.
Specifically on your comments about differing opinions from different arborists, that's VERY common. As arboriculture is part science and part experience (and let's remember we're dealing with living, breathing entities), we frequently have different approaches, even within our firm. The choice a homeowner makes is one which essentially says: "I think this person is the most in tune with my property and my goals."
We are honored by your candid review and thank you for taking the time to share it!
