Great food; mediocre service 10/16/2010

My wife and I visited for the first time at 4pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was had only a few occupied seats, but the waitress was extremely slow to get our order, refill the water, or give us the bill at the end. Despite the bad service, the food was fantastic. It was some of the best breakfast food I've had at a restaurant, and we'll definitely be back for more. I had the cranberry pancakes and cheesy home fries, and my wife had the french toast and spit pea soup. more

Josephs Two is the gem of Waltham. While Boston isn't known for diners, this is the exception. They have the best coffee, and great breakfast foods... perfect hangover food, or for an early morning brunch with the fam. The Bananas Supreme dish is excellent. Unfortunately, if you don't get there before 10am on the weekends, you'll be greeted with a line out the door. Quality of customer service can vary, but is generally good.... its usually because they are so busy! more
