The ladies at Joseph John Salon really know their stuff. All the stylists are fantastic at color....great at cuts...and superb and styles. If anyone is looking for a new place to go, i would HIGHLY recommend Joseph John Salon. I personally go to Courtney and i absolutely love her. However, all the ladies there are great. They really know how to treat you well and they break the barrier of awkwardness between a customer and stylist. They truly make you feel welcomed and the center of attention. I have gotten numerous comments on my hair and all i have to say is "Thanks JJS!" more

Best place in the Chicago Metro area 3/6/2009

I have been going to this salon over 15 years. I am confident of everyone there. I'd let any of them cut, style and color my hair. However my regular stylist is Danielle. She's excellent. She really listens and gives great advice on what you could do. more

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT 2/25/2008

I have been going to Joseph John Salon for the past 9-10 years and LOVE EVERYONE THERE. I have gone to many other chain salons and had horrible experiences. The stylists listen to what you have to say and will add in suggestions on what they think/know will be best. The best part is the people that work there, everyone will get to know you and make you feel at home. I feel the prettiest after getting "all my work done". I don't know what I would do without them. more

Very Happy 10/3/2007

After being disappointed with other salons, I was careful choosing this one. I asked if the person doing my hair was a full time employee, and how long she'd been there. I got the right answers, and gave it a try. After 2+ years, I'm very happy with my choice. There's a youthful atmosphere here, but the stylists are definitely experienced - they know their stuff, and are really into it. I like seeing them consult each other about color choices. I feel like they know the current trends, but it's not trendy. It's a friendly, comfortable, enthusiastic atmosphere - I don't feel uncomfortable in any way, and I see a wide variety of clientele in there. I definitely recommend it! more

Can't beat an Aveda salon! 5/23/2007

In addition to the warm, friendly atmosphere the stylists & receptionists provide - i have never had a bad experience w/ color or style. The stylists are veterans, but young enough to know what's in. I love the selection of Aveda products & how Joseph John supports Aveda's 'mission' to make the world better. more

Full Service Salon 10/5/2005

This salon has it all. You can get a great haircut at a reasonable price. Other services that are available are waxing and manicures. They also sell Aveda products which are great on your hair. Their staff is very friendly and personable. If you tell them what type of hairstyle you would like, they are very good at accomodating your wishes. They have magazines for you to read while your color is setting which helps make the time go by faster. I suggest to stop in one day. It's a great place to go! more
