My husband received a very prompt and caring service from Dr. Herbst. He was in pain and Dr. Herbst saw him right away. He was not only a very caring person, he has as wacky a sense of humor as my husband. We loved visiting with Dr. Herbst. He took very good care of my husband. Next time we need some help we will definitely be in touch. more

Dr. Herbst is the best endodontist I have been to(he is my fourth). I was referred to him by my dentist who I have been going to for the past 20 years and have total confidence in. I had gone to my dentist to have a cracked filling repaired and upon xray, he found an abscess. He called Dr. Herbst to see if he could see me for a consultation. I went to Dr. Herbst's office that afternoon as an emergency and he did the root canal right then. I had no pain, not even the next day. Dr. Herbst explained the procedure in great detail in easy to understand language and answered my questions. His bedside manner was excellent! He also took the time to hand write instructions for me before I left there. His office is immaculately clean and he and his staff were awesome. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an endodontist. more

Dr. Herbst is a true find! He came highly recommended and after going to him, I can see why. I awoke on Saturday morning with a lot of discomfort in my back molar. My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Herbst (he is a root canal specialist). Dr. Herbst was able to see me on emergency in his office (on Saturday). Karen, his office manager, made me feel at ease and Dr. Herbst has a very kind and gentle manner. As far as the root canal, it was a breeze! I mean I didn't feel any pain at all. It felt similar to getting a filling. To top it all off, Dr. Herbst asked me to call him and let him know how I was doing the next day (a Sunday!) I will surely go back to him if I ever need any other future treatments and will join in and highly recommend him. (I never thought I would feel this way after having a root canal.) more

Dr Joe Herbst is amazing! If you are in need of a dreaded root canal, I'd highly recommend seeing Dr. Herbst. He will take all of your pain away and he'll make you laugh along the way. My general dentist glowingly endorsed and referred me to Dr. Herbst last Monday and I must say I didn't know what to expect but after going through with it, I am equally impressed! I had taken off work on Monday and was hoping to be seen by him right away. Dr. Herbst's receptionist was extremely caring and got me an appointment with him on emergency for Monday afternoon. Dr Herbst listened to me and performed an examination and explained what he thought needed to be done and then asked me if I wanted to get started. I was super nervous about having a root canal but felt Dr Herbst was an expert and had the root canal performed by him. After the procedure, Dr. Herbst took the time to sit with me and explain the after-care. He wrote down instructions on what I should do and told me to go home rest and have a good meal. I really felt like he went above and beyond when he asked me to call him the next day to tell him how I was feeling :) My goodness he was so nice. If you ever need a root canal, take my advice and see Dr. Herbst. He is great! more

If you have children beware. Dr. Herbst wants total control. He would not allow me to stay in the treatment area with my child while he was examining him nor during the procedure. Never has that happend before since my child is under 18. Also, I tried to reschedule my second appointment only because I didn't have the balance due on the bill that day. The receptionist would not let me reschedule. During the second visit, the receptionist was less then friendly and the Dr was even worse. He told me to shut up 3 times in front of my son when I questioned what he was doing to my child during that visit. He had already collected over $2500. for that root canal and in the end a total of over $3,000. I was so disgusted! Use caution!! more
