This is the first time I have ever written any comments online about my dining experience. This is going to be a bit long so please bear with me. I visited Joselitos in Montrose for the first time last Friday after work with my husband and some friends. We did not have a reservation and apparently it is recommended when visiting this place (I did not know) so we had a small wait for the 6 of us to be seated. Not a problem, we all had a margarita while we waited. The margarita was decent, nothing to brag about. When we were finally seated they placed us at a booth that would normally seat 4 people comfortably, we were 6! They put a chair on the end of the booth for the 6th person and 5 of us squeezed in. We requested a larger table almost immediately after being seated and were told that there were a lot of reservations and it would be a VERY long time till we got a larger table. Basically, NO. The person sitting at the end of the table was bumped on the head a total of 5 times so we again, said please can we move. This time we got the manager (Cory), he said we are really busy and there are people who made reservations. We were told the appetizer was on the house. All of this said without a smile, without any sympathy to our situation, WITHOUT AN APOLOGY. As if we were inconveniencing him! Then, we get the waiter, he now asks us if we plan to stay because.. there are no other tables... like... we can just leave now. Again, we spoke with the mngr. This time, basically wanting some common courtesy. Mngr came over again, we said how the waiter was rude and how we haven?t even once heard, sorry, I understand, I am sure it is uncomfortable to be bumped on the head several times, anything. No, the mngr said, and I quote, ?what more do you want, I already said you didnt have to pay for your appetizer? (as if we can?t pay, that?s not the point) then he said ?I don?t have time for this, just leave?
Pros: Nice area
Cons: Horrible Customer Service
