Jones, Marvin P, Md - Camden Urgent Care & Wellness

I have gone to Dr. Jones about half a dozen times now. Not a single appointment has been less than 2 hours of waiting. My most recent appointment lasted 3.5 hours and I didn't even get to see the doctor. My typical visit with him has only lasted 5-10 minutes. He spends more time chitchatting with his employees than he does actually seeing the patients. more

I went to the urgent care/Jones Feb 2011. Wayy overpriced for service received. ($180) have been trying to get RECEIPT copy of visit and they are too busy, or never answer phones, nevermind any return calls! I did get one lady on phone once who seemed very very BOTHERED at my request and she informed it would cost $25 to get a one sheet doc report copy and receipt. My atty has called several times as well, no luck. What a waste of money and I wasnt even fixed. more

Provided tests that were against the CDC s reccomendations and then subjected me to further tests when I told them to stop testing my mucus sample again. I agree completely with the other complaints here. I would not go there even if my life depended on it. Cons: No call backs. Unsoppurtive Lying more

Camden Urgent Care is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered in my lifetime with people that are suppose to be there to help the sick. Calling back to get any kind of information in near impossible, you get the run around and your questions are never answered because they say ""they are TOO BUSY"" to help right now and then you are told to call back at a better time. . . and still the same thing. . . you just get the run around and feel as though your problem it NOT important and they don't care! I will never go back there, it was horrible customer service! They don't live up to what Camden Urgent Care says they are about with treating people with ""dignity and respect they deserve"" and getting back to people in an ""efficient, organized and timely manner"" Cons: Worst experience ever had at doctors office more

No appointments. Just walk-in. Sounds great. Well, I knew I would have to wait awhile. First time visit, paperwork was pretty easy. The nurse called me in. She was nice and thorough. I had more of an exam with her than the doctor. My examination with Dr. Jones was all of about 3 minutes. He walked me to the window to check out and gave me a prescription. I asked what it was and was told ""The good stuff"". No explanations. Took to the pharmacy where I was told my insurance wouldn't cover $114.31 of said prescription. Pharmacist called to have prescription changed. No one answered. They are open til 7 and my pharmacist was calling a little after 6:30p.m. Made phone calls next morning, which is today, and was told a message for the doctor has been taken though he is seeing other patients and will not go thru his messages til after lunch. So I am left to suffer that much longer with sinusitis. I am not impressed and will not go back. I will wait for my regular doctor to see me than do this walk-in place again. Out of this visit, the best experience was being evauluated by the nurse. I do not and will not recommend this facility to anyone. more
