When you call you get a female named Stephanie the lasik person, who by all means gets you in there, and because she's been doing it so long, (know that because she also likes to talk about herself) she's got an answer and a sales pitch for anything possible that you can possible think of and ask. When they have a special for $699, you better believe it's NOT $699!! She's the perfect bait and switch operator. Then after I bought into the whole sales pitch of $3100 (not $699) it took me forever to get my money back!!! I should of really read all the reviews prior to going in on that place. After numerous calls to there so called accounts payable person who keep telling me that she would have Dr. Siems ok it and then refund my money back, ok it? With Dr. Siems? Why, it's my money and I had no service done so why was it so hard to get my money back, Stephanie never would return my calls, it was like I was poision! Well this place is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. MONEY MONEY MONEY HUNGRY!! It will end up getting them in the end!! Especially the lasik person Stephanie. Go to a lasik place that tells you everything, not just the good, but the negative points about lasik too. To many negatives on the internet about Dr. Siems and with the Medical Board. more

I had PRK a few weeks ago and today I see 20/20. Aside for the first two weeks being somewhat uncomfortable the experience overall as been great! I would recommend anyone who is unable to have lasik to have PRK with DR. SIEMS! more

Surgery was fast and I felt comfortable. Valium of some sort was given to me and I honestly had no problems getting ready. The machine can look intimidating, but it was so easy. I had a friend of mine ready to drive me home and in a few hours I was able to see. more

I've worn glasses for 37 years. I had Dr. Siems perform the surgery on me 1 month ago and i highly recommended it to everyone. The staff was exceptional. All my questions and fears were answered. I was very nervous about the procedure but I liked how reassuring Dr. Siems was with me. The day of surgery I was even more anxious, but I liked that the staff made me feel calm and Dr. Siems talked to me through the entire procedure. The aftercare was easy to understand and I knew if I had questions I could call at anytime. I’m incredibly pleased with my vision. After wearing glasses and contacts since I was 9, it is very nice to wake up and not have to put in contacts, or to be able to work long days without discomfort. PRK process – It’s about 6 weeks after my surgery and my vision is 20/20 and I am surprised how quickly it has taken to get here. The initial recovery process (i.e. two to three weeks post-op) took a bit longer than expected in terms of blurriness as the cells on the cornea healed. However, it was extremely efficient in terms of recovery post-treat period. Overall, no major issues with the surgery or recovery process andI would recommend PRK here for those who can’t have Lasik. more

I had a great experience with the surgery. The staff was very knowledgeable and very polite, friendly and helpful. The doctors and staff explained everything including the step-by-step process of the surgery. I was recommended by my husband (he had it done 10 years ago). I would definitely recommend Dr. Siems! Dr. Siems and his staff are absolutely outstanding! I was initially afraid, hesitant and uncertain about having Lasik due to my age. Dr. Siems’ experience and training exemplified the expertise required to perform the procedure. Both eyes were completed in about 12 minutes and I went home and slept a couple of hours. When I woke up I could see. Yes! Thank you Dr. Siems and staff for all you have done for me. I would recommend you to all who are doubtful of getting Lasik. I have had no regrets. I had my lasik surgery back in 2007 with Dr. Seims and ever since then I've been suffering from halos, ghosting, and starburst at night. During the day, my vison seemed to be okay but every night time my horrible side effects affects my driving. The glare, ghostings, and starburst of incoming traffic lights and street lights interrupts my vision that makes it dangerous to drive at night. During my post-op check ups, I've mentioned my problems and in the end of all the check ups, Dr. Si ems said he can NOT find anything wrong with my eye. It was devastating because he never considers those side effects a problem. He does not care about your eye because he does not test your eye thoroughly, including your pupil size. He NEVER told me that I'm at risk of having these complications because of my pupil size unlike other doctors. Please don't have him as your surgeon, he just want your money.\r \r Pros: can see clearly at daytime Cons: can NOT see clearly at night time, complications, and expensive. Not worth it. more
