If you are reading reviews to decide on an eye doctor, I highly recommend you do NOT go here!! I am a highly respected business professional and am taking the time to post this to warn anyone who is seeking advice. While the staff is as friendly as can be, Dr. Siems has a "God complex" and thinks he can do no wrong. Don't just take my word for what I am about to tell you, I HAVE BEFORE AND AFTER PICS TO PROVE EVERYTHING I AM ABOUT TO SAY!! Simply email me and I will GLADLY send them to you!! After much contemplation, I went to Dr. Siems for a lower bleph procedure. I not only went in for the initial consult but also stopped back in two other times prior to the procedure to ask specific questions and get confirmations on exactly what the procedure would do for me. I explained that I wanted the bleph so that I would no longer need to buy face creams for wrinkles, etc and it was very apparent that when not smiling (resting b**** face), I showed no signs of wrinkles. EVERY pic on my Facebook account shows a non-smiling pic simply because I showed wrinkles when I cracked a smile. I asked Dr. Siems SPECIFICALLY if the procedure would get rid of ALL OF THE WRINKLES and was told YES!!! Even Tonya, the woman who booked my procedure in the office and took my payment, told me YES, they would all be gone! I even stopped back in the office again, before the procedure to get a firm confirmation again that I was understanding correctly and that after paying the $3300, that ALL of my wrinkles under my eyes would be gone. I felt as if there was no need to pay $3300 to have the surgery if the surgery wasn't going to get rid of ALL of the wrinkles because I would still have to buy face creams if there was even one wrinkle left afterwards. What would be the point in having the surgery? I would have rather just kept buying the creams anyways and saved the $3300!! Needless to say, I now still have to buy the creams and STILL have wrinkles!! more

just this past Tues. I had Lasik done on both eyes and I was very nervous, plus had a bad experience at a different Lasik place, but everyone at Siems was great!! They took great care of me, eased my worries, and were also so fast and efficient! Not to mention everyone was extremely friendly! The whole surgery process took only 5 mins literally and they made sure I was comfortable while they were doing it! They were also extremely affordable, I know because I went to 7 different places pricing them. I would HIGHLY recommend Siems Eye Center to anyone! I had PRK a few weeks ago and today I see 20/20. Aside for the first two weeks being somewhat uncomfortable the experience overall as been great! I would recommend anyone who is unable to have lasik to have PRK with DR. SIEMS! more

Surgery was fast and I felt comfortable. Valium of some sort was given to me and I honestly had no problems getting ready. The machine can look intimidating, but it was so easy. I had a friend of mine ready to drive me home and in a few hours I was able to see. more

I am amazed at the results and the surgery was so easy! It only took about 20 minutes for the entire procedure. Now I don't have to worry about contacts or glasses and I can see better than 20/20. I did my research and Dr. Siems is the best there is! more

I've worn glasses for 37 years. I had Dr. Siems perform the surgery on me 1 month ago and i highly recommended it to everyone. The staff was exceptional. All my questions and fears were answered. The day of surgery I was even more anxious, but I liked that the staff made me feel calm and Dr. Siems talked to me through the entire procedure. The aftercare was easy to understand and I knew if I had questions I could call at anytime. I’m incredibly pleased with my vision. After wearing glasses and contacts since I was 9, it is very nice to wake up and not have to put in contacts, or to be able to work long days without discomfort. PRK process – It’s about 6 weeks after my surgery and my vision is 20/20 and I am surprised how quickly it has taken to get here. The initial recovery process (i.e. two to three weeks post-op) took a bit longer than expected in terms of blurriness as the cells on the cornea healed. However, it was extremely efficient in terms of recovery post-treat period. Overall, no major issues with the surgery or recovery process andI would recommend PRK here for those who can’t have Lasik. more

"Dr. Siems performed an Intacs procedure on my right eye. Unfortunately the procedure had to be done to solve the eye disease keratoconus that I had in both eyes. After performing the Intacs procedure my vision has improved greatly. The Intacs procedure was a life saver for me. New to the eye disease soon after my surgery I had to have a corneal transplant. Dr. Siems once again came through! As of today, April 30, 2010, my vision is great. I want to thank Dr. Siems and Rich and all of the staff for giving me my LIFE back." more

"Dr. Siems and his staff are absolutely outstanding! I was initially afraid, hesitant and uncertain about having Lasik due to my age. Dr. Siems’ experience and training exemplified the expertise required to perform the procedure. Both eyes were completed in about 12 minutes and I went home and slept a couple of hours. I had a great experience with the surgery. The staff was very knowledgeable and very polite, friendly and helpful. The doctors and staff explained everything including the step-by-step process of the surgery. I was recommended by my husband (he had it done 10 years ago). I would definitely recommend Dr. Siems! It has been 3 years since my surgery and I have been very happy with the results. No glasses except for sun glasses for sunny driving and the beach! I have recommended the surgery to all of my friends and family.  I read an average of 200 hours a month and since the surgery my eyes don’t seem to strain like they did when I wore glasses. Plus, I like the payment plan. Keep up the good work! more

Well my husband had lasik surgery here 1 year ago with Dr Siems. The staff was great from the beginning. We did have to go into the office 2 days because of insurance reasons so that sucked. Then on day 2 the machine my husband was supposed to use broke down. Luckily with his vision they were able to use either machine they had there and after a short delay he had his other eye done. more
