The employees at John's Run/Walk Shop really know how to fit shoes. They know if you overpronate, underpronate, or if you have a fairly neutral gait. This may not be much of an issue if you're getting a pair of thongs at the drug store; but if you're a dedicated runner, walker, or suffer from severe fibromyalgia like I do, getting the correct fit in a sport shoe is critical. These people know their stuff-really. They'll spend the time it takes even if you're extremely hard to fit. Don't waste your time elsewhere if you care about your feet. They carry a wide variety of better brands and their prices are reasonable (this is not a Shoe Carnival or Payless). Very Highly Recommended. The Ashland Ave store has the widest selection of running/walking shoes. John's has a total of four (4) stores now. You can visit the website at johnsfamilyofstores.com.
