My husband works down the street from John's Hair Design and has been getting his hair cut and styled by him for over a year now. Oh and just so you know my husband is VERY picky....

John's Hair 1/14/2011

John personally cut my hair and did an amazing job. He made it stylish with great volume. I have very thick hair, but the way John cut it made it feel light and weightless. He did a great job, I would recommend visiting his salon. He is as passionate as the other reviews say and definitely wants your hair to look perfect! more

First thing I noticed about John is his passion for his work. Regardless of the client he gives his best. And his best is absolute perfection. He loves what he does and it shows in his work. His attention to detail and care for clients is incredable. He lets his work speak for itself. His attention to detail and ability to create work of art (not just a haircut) is uncanny. more

If your a picky guy like me and you want people to notice your hair then you have to go see John.This guy is a Nice guy and his work is the best yet.My brother referred me to him last week.I went in for a haircut for the first time and this guy knows what he is doing.Im a VERY picky guy when it comes to my hair and this guy has the eyes of a hawk. A Shampoo, Conditioning and a blow dry was all part of the service i received.He used the clippers to cut my hair down then touched up around my ears and neck area with the buzzer.John took his time, examined my hair and pointed out the mistakes of the previous stylist had made on my hair.He then carefully cut and trimmed and finished up within an hour.This is no Super-cuts so your haircut wont be rushed.He spends ALOT of time on you.John Double and triple checked his work and how everything looks from every angle.Most stylist dont spend half the time on a guys haircut based on my experience.I got alot of compliments this past weekend during the holiday parties i attended.Im going to send my fianc?e in to see him as well.His prices are very fair too.Im sure he does a great job on the ladies as well.Anyway, Go see john and i assure you that you will NOT be disappointed.Nice guy, Great service and extremely talented.Thanks again John. more

Excellent service at a terrific price. 12/27/2010

John does incredible work. He is the only hair cutter that is able to make my hair look good! I moved to Sacramento for a year and actually waited to get hair cuts until I was visiting LA so I could have John cut my hair. I have been a loyal customer of John's for over 3 years. His prices are very reasonable, and he spends as much time as needed to give you the best haircut possible. John's Hair Design is the best in my book. more

I had the best hair cut and blow dry by Adrina. She is very-very good in eyebrow treading and waxing and most importantly she is very nice with costumers and she has great personality. Pros: Professional work more

Best hair cut! 1/11/2010

John's hair cut has very fine detailed cuts and he doesn't accomplish his job until his constumer likes the results and is okay with it.He listin to what you want and follows it step by step and finishs whit a picture perfect job.He salon is very neat and organized.his blow drys stay up to 6 days looking like it was just done that day with a fresh look.My dream hair cut place is at John's Hair Design, and i can't see my self going to any other hair salon then his.I recomened for everyone. Fantastic Find !! 1/11/2010

I just had the most amazing blow dry ever. I made the appointment on very short notice. They were very accommodating. John gave a a deep conditioning and a super blow out. I'm on day 3 and the hair still looks fabulous. Run don't walk to this salon !!! Pros: Fantastic service, excellent price !! more

Great place for a great haircut and style 1/10/2010

Serene atmosphere. John is very secure in his work, and completely focused on your hair. No distractions and no interruptions. He also gives you a wonderful blow-dry. I felt like going out on the town. Best of all his cut keeps it's shape and grows out beautifully. His salon is conveniently located with adjacent parking. I can recommend him without reservation, knowing full well that his client will leave his salon smiling. Pros: A unique boutique salon, Very clean. more

Comfortable, fast, efficient 1/10/2010

For this writer John has been very accomodating with my last minute scheduling requests, he is efficient with no wasted motions, he looks at what he is doing with the eye of an artist or architect, and the end result has always been my satisfaction. If I need contemplation time while in his chair John does not interfere with unnecessary chat. I was comfortable my first time there as a walk in with no previous knowledge of him. I've been going to John for about a year now and have never left his salon disappointed! He gives the best blow dry I have ever had. Seriously, it lasts 4 full days and every day my hair looks just as amazing as if I just walked out of the salon. My hair is healthiest it has ever been since I've become a client here. He uses great products and works quickly and efficiently which I love. This place is a must to try in the valley. Seriously, you won't leave disappointed!! Pros: I always leave looking great! more

Looking for a great cut & color???? John's Salon is the place be. John and his team are phenomenal at what hey do, I love the products that they use as well. I always get my hair cut and color here and i must say i love how my hair looks and feels healthy. Also the dye they use stays on pretty long. And if you need to do your brows as well, see Adrina she does an AMAZING job!!! i come here after work. I come in tired and worn out, but the whole time during my hair cut im kept laughing and entertained. After im done i feel great cuz i have a great hair cut and that my tiring day has turned into a relaxing one. more

I'm always in a hurry, and need to get in and out. Other places sacrefice time for service, but here i make an appointment im in and out and looking great. ive been coming here for about six months and i have not been disappointed. Pros: Great Service! more

Great place for a stylish hair cut 12/20/2009

I drive by John's Hair Design on the way to and from work. One day I decided to stop by and get a hair cut on my way home. John was incredibly nice and I wasn't a bit nervous about coming to a new place. I love my new hair cut!
