My husband works down the street from John's Hair Design and has been getting his hair cut and styled by him for over a year now. Oh and just so you know my husband is VERY picky....

Best blowout in town!!! 2/24/2012

My husband works down the street from John's Hair Design and has been getting his hair cut and styled by him for over a year now. Oh and just so you know my husband is VERY picky. He is a perfectionist especially when it comes to his hair. So he told me to go check him out and let me tell you I am glad I did. His work is incredible & has such a great personality on top of it! Very particular and talented. I really enjoyed my experience there. He takes his time and really does a phenomenal job. He loves what he does and it shows!!! The first time I went there I got a blowout and deep conditioning treatment and the second time I went he colored my hair and blow dried it for me. I am going back again tomorrow for the blowout and deep conditioning special. He is my new hair stylist and I highly recommend him to everyone!! Ladies and Gentlemen you will be VERY satisfied with his service! Thank you John for making my hair fabulous! :) more

What an Amazing Salon 4/18/2011

I was in the Studio City area and i was going up on Whitsett and came across John's Hair Design. Since i did need a haircut BAD!!! I thought let me just give it a try. Well i'm sooooo glad i did. I walked in and a Stylist name diana was available and said let's go shampoo you hair right away i didn't even have to wait. Let me tell you i've never had anyone take so much time and be a profectionist about a haircut. I'm definitly going back to get my haircut with her again. Thanks for making me look and feel great. more

Great Place In Studio City. 4/15/2011

I've been going to John's Hair Design for several months now and in my three years in LA it is the best experience I have had as for hair cuts. I live in Studio City which makes John's location awesome and they have complimentary parking (BIG PLUS). John is super nice, professional, experienced, and believes in customer service. And, the prices are very fair too. If you are in search for someone for a hair designer give the John and his staff a shot. more

BEST SERVICE IN THE VALLEY!!! 4/13/2011

This is the place to get pampered. It's all about the personal attention and positive attitude. John and Diana made me feel like the day was all about me and gave me the best hair styling money could buy. I am always stressed about my hair... but John and Diana have the magic touch. I just told them to make me look good and they did or else I was going to be really mad!! These people deserve trophy!!! Thank you Johns Hair Design. more

AMAZING SALON!!! 4/12/2011

John's Hair Design is AMAZING my daughter and I went in I had color,cut,blow dry, and she had a cut/BLOW DRY their by far the best , John and Diana are VERY nice and professional, I would highly recommend that if you are looking for an excellent salon do yourself a favor and try John's Hair Design, I promise you will be satisfied with your HAIR,! This salon is a one stop shop, with an amazing make up artist Diana, long lasting blow drys, hair cut masters ready to go and best of all priced just right. I have been going to Diana for over 4 year and now with her new location I can get everything done at once. more

Best Hair and Makeup 3/18/2011

Diana is by far the best Hair and Makeup artist I have been to. I have been to many and not everyone is as talented she is. She is a real artist. I love how she listens to what you want and does it exactly how you want it. The part if you ask her if something will look good she will be honest with you, she is the type that wants everyone to look their best. She did my prom hair and makeup, everyone was just in love and i cant count how many compliments i got, i recommend everyone to go to Diana for hair and makeup, even if its casual or if its for a very special occasion she will take great care of you. I love the products she uses for hair and makeup. more

Best Place for Hair and Makeup! 3/2/2011

Diana, the makeup artist here is AMAZING! Now I'm not the type to go to just anyone for my makeup and hair; I'm VERY particular about the way it looks, but I completely trust her with that. What I love about her is that you can be very open with her and she will actually listen to what you're telling her, and actually remember it for the next time you're there. Hands down, my go-to person for hair (especially for updo's) and makeup any day! more

Best make up EvEr 2/24/2011

One of my friend's recommended for me to try John's Hair Design. So I did, I made an appointment with Diana. On 2/11/11 I went to get my hair and make-up done. She did the best up-do ever and the make-up BeAuTiFuL. She is so good, she knows exactly what she is doing, she takes her time to make sure her customer is happy with the results. I strongly suggest you guys try her. I can?t remember the last time I got so many compliments as I did on that day. Diana you?re the best I?ll never go to anyone else?Luv U more

After coming to this salon I don't think I will ever go anywhere else. I was passing by and was in desport need of a haircut and decided to give this place a try. The place is very friendly, professional, fast and still with the top work performed. John knows what's he is doing and I am gratefull for the amazing job that he did. i am definetely coming back. more

The Real Deal 1/26/2011

John and Princess Diana are so down to earth ,their concern for your satisfaction is beyond comparison, I have NEVER had stylists so attentive and involved with perfection in their craft .Dianne and John treated me so nicely I wanted to just hang out and sip cognac and soak up the pleasant atmosphere forget the rest... they ARE the best .what a pleasant surprise im so glad I found them! 'Ive been a client of Diana's for several years now, and i can honestly say that I have never experienced such a calm and relaxing time when going for a hair cut. She is attentive to your needs and does as you want, beautifully. I can sit back in the chair and enjoy my time chatting it up with rather that stressing over what my hair is going to look like. I highly recommend Diana to anyone who's looking for a fabulous hairstylist! more

Best Blow Dry Ever!!! 1/19/2011

I recently had a blow dry by John and it was amazing. Ive never had a blow dry like this before and I have gone to many places. I finally found a hairstylist that I can permanantly go to for and of my occassions. I wil definetly go back there again and I highly recommend John to everyone. Thank you John your the best!!! John's a great guy.Having had some bad haircut experiences in the past, I was pleasantly surprized by the attention to detail and meticulous way in which he creates your cut. John does what YOU want! He patiently listens to your input, before he cuts your hair.The first time John cut my hair, my wife said,""That's the best haircut you ever got!"" Then a friend of mine, said the same thing. that's all I needed to hear! It was a great experience. Thanks John! more

Best haircut I've had 1/18/2011

I started going to John's Hair Design when I lived within walking distance. I tried a few others in the area that I could also walk to. They were not only not as good but cost $50 or more! It would take them 15-20 minutes to cut my hair and charge me $50. John spends more time on my hair then the other places and does a MUCH better job and charges half that amount. more
