The grocery selection here sucks. The only good thing about this place is their alcohol selection, however I'm not old enough to take advantage of it yet. Therefore I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are 21+. more

An Iowa City Institution 10/4/2010

John's Grocery aka Dirty John's is like an Iowa City Institution. The groceries here aren't the best but I would highly recommend coming here for their alcohol selection. They have a great wine, beer and liquor selection and if they don't have something you want, they will help you get it. more
