Food is always made to order 12/2/2010

I ate dinner at JBest in Westport with my friends, it was soo good. They made it fresh to order and the wait was minimal. We went back for the lunch buffet, they had a really nice variety. Definitly worth the trip. more

Ate there again...still good 5/1/2009

Just ate there last night, everything was great. Two chicken dinners and a small pie. the service was good and the place was clean and staff friendly. One thing I do know is that people get confused with this place (in Westport on Post Road) and another Johns Best in Norwalk - they are very different but when I meet my friends sometimes they get confused with the address. Westport is near the Norwalk the line near Whole Foods. Also, they cater now. more

Family Favorite for Generations 1/25/2009

John's Best in Westport has been around for over 40 years. it has always provided great food at great prices and is one of the few places in Westport that truly welcomes families. Their new building is great but even better is that they now deliver and have beefed up their catering menu - a great place for a dinner that will you will be able to fill up on and still be able to bring leftovers home. more

Average at best 8/18/2005

John's Best has been around for years and I have always wondered how. They are not terrible, they just have incerdibly average italian food & pizza at fairly high prices. Pizza is not expensive here but there are several better pizza places within a couple of miles. The all you can eat lasagna special has always amused me because while the price is great there really is no filling between the lasagna noodles. Desserts are not worthwhile. more
