I for one have yet to find a mechanic that can compair to the higher standards that you find in John Wooten , and his Team @ JOHN WOOTEN AUTO. I have experienced his loyality to his customers first hand. I have read the reviews on here , and something just doesn't add up like $5,000 for a 1976 Chevrolet engine block. Somebody told some LIES to the judge. I have watched him come out of his own pocket many times to help a customer in need. I for one would recommend him to anyone for any type of repair. more

We took our original engine out of our 76 K5 Blazer to him to bore, clean, add forged pistons and some other stuff and we fought for 7 months to get our block back. When we got it back it was not our block. The block we gave him was a numbers matching to our Blazers VIN, we took pictures of our block prior to taking it to him and we had him and his employee write down our EIN # from the block on the receipt that listed what we dropped off to him. Long story short. We told him we had pics, he told us he would find our block, we called him daily, showed up at his shop and finally my husband asked him what he was going to do about our block. He told my husband that he wasnt going to do anything and that he needed to deal with it, then hung up on him. We filed a civil case against him, we went to court Yesterday March 31st, 2010 and were awarded a Judgement for 5000. He never even showed up in court because he is a piece of crap and knows that hes a cheat and liar. We also went and filed Criminal charges against him because he knew it was not his engine to sell. And did it anyway. We found out from the Longview police dept that he has pending charges in Burke county for selling a customers CAR!!!! The whole car... So PLEASE do not take any of your belongings to him. You can verify everything I have said with the Catawba County Courthouse, Burke County District Attorney and the Longview Police Department. Pros: This guy has no pros... Cons: He is a Thief!!!!! more

not a good place to take ur truck or car 2 i took a 1971 charger there 2004 havent seen it yet. suppose to be a church going member well guess you really cant trust on one anymore. Cons: cany get my car back more
