I have been 2 Joey's 2x & both times I felt like it was such an inconvenience for them 2 serve me. Both times I went 2 pick up an order 4 my office. 4 pizzas, bread & salad. A big order if you ask me. The first time, when I called in the order, I asked 4 bread. When I got there, they didn't have any ready. The lady giving me my food said I hadn't ordered any. I replied that I had. She again said that I didn't. She asked me if I was the one who called it in & I said that I had. She told me they didn't have any bread ready so I couldn't have it & that I'd never asked 4 it when I ordered. I had, but regardless, instead of arguing w/me, she just should have started 2 make some. Finally the guy behind the counter put some bread in the oven. I then asked 4 an itemized receipt so I could submit my expense 2 my corporate office & she said they were out of paper & I couldn't have one. Her & her daughter started arguing about it & it ended w/her daughter yelling at her 2 just write a receipt w/everything on it. It's very uncomfortable 2 B in front of other people yelling @ each other. Today, again, my office wanted Joey's. I called in the order & I & a co-worker went 2 pick it up. We walked up 2 the cash register & told them that we were there 2 pick up an order. They were still working on it so we stepped aside 2 wait. The daughter then walked up 2 the counter w/two pizza rolls on a plate, looked @ us & said, ""Ladies, you're rolls R ready."" We thought she was talking 2 us & told her that that wasn't ours, that we were waiting 4 a 2 go order. She looked @ us & said, ""I am soooo aware of that."" Then, when we got our order, I made the mistake of asking 4 an itemized receipt. I asked the lady checking everyone out if she had a receipt w/everything I ordered listed. She said no & turned away 2 help someone else. No explanation or anything. It's bad 2 feel like such a burden 2 someone who is taking your money. The good food is not worth the nasty attitude & we won't order again.
