This is by far the best-est sushi establishment that I have been to. I don't understand the bad reviews, I've recently been going here, since 2011 and it is simply the best sushi I have ever had. The sushi platters and kinds are endless. Egg rolls so appetizing. The chefs behind the sushi bar, which is where I always sit at, Very friendly, talkative, and attentive to your next order. The waitresses always smiling and regularly coming to either refill your drink or take your finished plates. and the prices are sooo reasonable, no complaints, just sushi goodness :).\r \r So if you ever find yourselves near the lincoln Joe's Sushi, I say if your appetite is big, then go on in there and chow down, stuff's the bomb :). more

Bad Fish Vomit for 2 Days not good 11/1/2010

I have been going to Joes sushi for over a year now and thought it was great but I was wrong. I went Saturday night and found it to be not as busy. The sushi chefs were being rude and leaving all the time to the back and not coming back. The fish was not fresh and had a funky smell to it. I believe they are not as busy due to the economy so they might be using old fish. I woke up Sunday morning feeling really bad, I had diahrea and vomit for 2 days i believe i got food poisoning from the fish or mussels. I will not go back again and hope the owner reads this review. more

HEALTH RISK... SERVING BAD FISH 8/5/2010

Joes used to be great but there are new owners and it is discusting. This place served me bad tuna... and refused to refund my money. The tuna was served warm and was very Slimy...yes slimy. It was like the tuna had been sitting is warm dishwater. I had one bite and sent it back to the waitress. Later that night I became violently sick and had to report the incident to the health department. From the reviews many people have had bad experiences from this nasty place. Eating here is risking your health....I hope the heath department shuts them down soon! more

I cant believe its legal to have a resturant this horrible. They let you know that your at a all-u-can-eat dump! I rather eat sushi frm a grocery store than eat here ever again! Pros: nothing Cons: everything more

Never AGain 6/19/2008

We decided to take our friend there for her Birthday dinner, it turned out to be such a bad idea the sushi wasn't fresh, small proportions. We were a total of 10 people we ordered all you can eat, a la carte and some drinks. The service was the worst after only being there for about 30 minutes we were rudely told that they needed our table. I understand for the all you can eat it was only for 1 hour but we were ordering other stuff a la carte and drinks, you would think they would be more considerate to that especially since we were a bigger party than others. We left with a bitter taste in our mouth. THIS BY FAR HAS BEEN THE WORST SUHI I'VE HAD AND WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! more

Eat at Joe's. You'll love it! 5/19/2008

Probably one of the best ""All You Can Eat"" sushi bars in Orange County. The service is fast and friendly and the choices are incredible for the price. Everything was fresh and well prepared. I've had a great experience every time I've been there. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys good sushi. Pros: Fresh sushi and a large choice of rolls Cons: Parking can get tight sometimes more

Great sushi & service 5/4/2007

Joe's is a very small quaint little neighborhood sushi bar. The service is great and food is fantastic. You can order individual or the ""all you can eat"" which most people prefer. The chef's will accomodate any special requests you may have and I find that service what sets them apart from the rest. It's been around forever and has a loyal clientele, I've lived near Joe's for over 15 years, any small business that's been around that long shows a reputation of excellence! Great sushi, great service, great price. All of the guys behind the bar are very cool and the female help staff are really cute. This place rules over Wasa and most other surrounding sushi joints. Pros: Chefs, Sushi, Value Cons: Top 40 Music, Can get crowded. more

Wow ! I loved this place ! Sushi was great. It's a small place, so get there early. All you can eat Sushi, Tempura, Salad, Soup is a great Deal at $21.95. Nothing Special 8/7/2005

I've been eating sushi all my life, and there is nothing fresh about the sushi they serve. Don't get me wrong, the food is in fact very tasty. It just lacks the freshness and the authentic taste that sushi should be. I also found the service quite lacking as well. Not only did the waiter ""ignore"" us most of the time, but the food took forever. Best two words to describe Joe's is ""Nothing Special"". more

Fresh,Fast and very Friendly. I prefer Sushimi & Chefs specials. I don't do all you can eat but 85% of the clientele does and they chow down for $20.00. It's a small place so they are busy and you feel there's not that much room/time for uniqueness, but Kyle is a great guy and if you tell him what your looking for he'll give it heck. I live close so I will be back, they stop serving at 10pm -don't be late or you will feel very rushed. Pros: fresh, small/fun more

Went there after I saw it on City Search and thought it was some good sushi. The staff are quick and friendly and the prices are very resonable--esp the ""all you can eat"". Would definitely go again. Pros: friendly service, good prices more

This is one of the best places to get started in the sushi world. Joe's is by far the most outstanding sushi restaurant in Orange county bar none. They are very attentive & open to your tastes. They have an incredible all-you-can-eat lunch & dinner buffet. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The quality & value far surpasses anything I've yet to find in O.C.
