My best friend had ordered a whole lobster, just the lobster. When it came out of the kitchen it ""was"" the whole lobster, head and all. My best friend was not expecting that and refused to dive in, so I cut it open for her and her stomach couldnt handle it. Not expecting anything, because she did order a whole lobster and gave no details...the restaurant did offer her another entree and comped her dinner. We were both VERY pleased!! I run an Inn and restaurant and we have the same customer service, you dont find that much anywhere so when you do it makes me very happy!! Wish I remembered the name of our waitress...but thank you!! more

Not a good time 6/8/2011

Lunch on 6-8-2011 Food was VERY slow, over an hour, then the order was wrong. Took the manager another 10 minutes to show up. The fare was greasy and cool. Would not recommend for a $54 lunch. Too bad no negative star ratings. more

Worst food. Worst ambiance. Bad!!!!! 4/28/2011

music blaring like a club at 7pm... Horrible ambiance. Almost stressful. Food is mediocre at best.crab frozen and not goof flavor. Then the singing comes for birthdays. Combiqned with the blaring stereo, you will find yourself looking to jump off the closed bridge. Awful. Period. more

Do not go for weekend lunch over priced. 10/10/2006

We went there on a Sunday afternoon, they had the lunch specials on the menu but we could not order from them. Its like giving kids candy and then taking it away. Was very average food, and very over priced ( $15 for 6 shrimp) I would advise you go somewhere else. more

Great addition 10/2/2002

Denver is not well known for seafood, Maybe because we don't have the greatest location in the states. But Joe's is a great addition to the seafood scene - I recommend the Big Daddy Crab Plate - Garlic broiled crab from Alaskan King Crab to Blue crab. Very good. You get a lot for your money and leave feeling very satisfied. We had 2 crab daddys and the cocktail peel and eats - bill ran about $70.00 - Better than the million red lobsters around. The restaurant tries to dance and put on a show, but I rather eat then watch amatures try to dance. Good atmosphere for parties though. Pros: Good food, Nice Crowd Cons: Loud music, Bright Lights more
