Joaquina's Skin Care

This place is better than any spa I have ever been too and is so affordable. It is run by a woman named Joaquina who I have been seeing for over 10 years. She is extremely knowlegable in all facets of skin care, her facials are to dye for I always feel like I am on a little getaway. She puts soft calming music and paraffin hand wax on your hands while you lay under the steam. I always come out glowing and my face feels/looks unbelievable. I also do laser hair removal and it has been great. I started doing endermologie treatments to tone up my body & reduce cellulite and she does it better than anyone else I know. Before she started doing endermologie I went to several places in NYC and the prices are horrendous and they do not take their time like she does. She really works the area you need. She always goes above and beyond and takes her time with you in whatever she is doing. I go to her for practically every beauty need, I wish I could take her home! I hope she continues for years to come, she is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anyone! Joaquina's is a small but sparkling gem found off bustling Austin St. Joaquina is a one woman, one-stop shop for skin-care needs. At first glance you may find her shop on the miniscule size, but once she has you in her masterful hands you feel completely at peace and her place takes on a cozy and warm feeling. Upon my first appointment with Joaquina she made me feel completely at ease. She plays peaceful music and understands that this is your time to zen out and relax. You won't here relentless chatter from her. . . unless You want to chat! Her prices are beyond reasonable and the quality of work speaks for itself. So what are you waiting for?!
