I went to the JoAnn's here in Lincoln...Michelle was the cashier...OMG...how rude and snotty can you be? Before I left I asked her if she could/would at least be nice to the next customer...greet her and thank her for shopping here....Michelle just glared-then turned away from BOTH of us and said very flatly....I'm Sorry...oh sorry..... more

there have been several times I have gone into this location and left completely disappointed and irritated. I am a student at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln studying textiles. I am constantly needing to buy more supplies and materials. The associates can't correctly tell me where certain fabrics are and always make me feel like I am wasting their time. They have no training in the product they are selling or customer service. I've decided to take my business elsewhere and do not encourage my fellow classmates to go there. more

I went to Jo-Ann's this past week and witnessed a very unprofessional, irrational manager which has altered my opinion of this store. There were 5 liquid potpourri jars on the shelf, which had $1.97 tag. I called a worker over and ask if this was right as it seemed very low, and although she was enroute to the cash register to assist a crowd she looked at it and said "yes it looks like that's what it is" . I took all 5 thinking they'd be nice gifts for my children's teachers and when I went to check out the store manager yelled out "that's not what those are" I said "well ma'am that was the price that was quoted by that woman", and I pointed to the woman who had quoted me the price. Who was by now over at the cash register helping someone override the potpourri. The manager then comes over and yells at the worker "YOU OWE ME FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE" I said, "oh my gosh, I don't want them if your going to have to pay for them or your going to lost your job" She said "don't worry, I quoted you that price and even though I made a mistake you can buy them at that price. My husband owns two businesses and he has people make mistakes, but he never lets his managers yell like that in front of customers. I will be buying all my fabric and crafts at Hancock fabric, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels from now on just because I don't want to see that sort of rudeness again more

I absolutely love Jo-Ann fabrics and can always find what I need here. The selection is fantastic and the sales are amazing. After every holiday, the merchandise will go to 90% off and you can stock up on all of your holiday items a year in advance. It's not like holiday things really go in and out of style too quickly! They also have great sales periodically on different departments such as baskets, fabrics, etc. Check them out! more
