Jimmy's Upholstery \r
We just finished a re-upholstery project with Jimmy and WOW he provided great quality, communication & service, on time, within budget doing just as he said he would! Actually it was under his original cost estimate! My artist wife is delighted with all the family, dining, and living room pieces! (Two couches, two chairs with ottomans, a rocker, and six dining chairs.)\r

First of all, a friend sent us there and while the basically one man basement shop is not impressive but was neat and clean. Immediately, I felt that he was a craftsman first and a businessman second. His casual attitude and approach was a bit deceiving because he maintains a tight ship. Immediately he inquired as to the size of the job and told us when he could work it into his schedule, noting that if anything changed he would adjust as needed but let us know! He does not supply fabric but offered several suggestions as to quality, cost and ease of use. Checking a furniture outline chart he led us through the estimate and time frame to do the work. His pricing estimate was very reasonable and much less than buying new furniture. He worked with us all along calling AHEAD to advise schedule and delivery of the pieces, came within minutes of every appointment. He was most careful with the furniture during pickup and delivery including placing it in the house. He discovered weaknesses in some pieces and offered repair at reasonable prices and advised reusing not replacing foam pieces. \r

WOW real service, craftsmanship, pride, reasonable prices, great communication, and all on a handshake basis.
Pros: Communication, quality, service, timeliness, helpful
Cons: Small business in case he gets hurt or sick, I'm not sure who takes over.
