Used to love going to this restaurant when we lived in Canyon Country, especially after church nearby on Sundays. Loved their fries and onion rings!! Best burger was a double bacon burger, then have a yellow pepper chilli with it ... small bite of pepper, then bite of burger - spiciness added to the flavor. Fantastic place! if you go there you will get under cooked food, extremely bad service, people that barely speak English, they won't get your order right, the place smells, if you need to go to jimmy deans you are much better off going to the one in Tujunga, it is well worth the 30 minute drive. I was looking on line to find their hours on the weekend. Saw the two comments posted, could NOT pass up giving Jimmy Deans a good review. They have provided good service & food to our community, we have lived here 18 years. So, your New to the area, well, you should try them again! Their food is excellent! Yes, if they served breakfast all day..that would be so nice! Every soccer season we'd get breakfast before our kids games. Our office gets breakfast there often and all are ALWAYS pleased. We did notice the one on Lyons is better tasting than the one off the 5 fwy...at least the chili was, we got the breakfast burritos that time. I HIGHLY recommend the Lyon's location to all I know! I read the other quote and sadly they picked the wrong thing. Their fried zuchinni are out of this world and if you like a good pastrami sandwhich they have it. My husband loves the bean and cheese burrito but last time I gave the carne asada burrito a try and I was darn near blown away. I grew up in Santa Clarita and there wasn't one day the place wasn't packed. The employees however, are local high school kids and it is a local dinner. Would you want to work where your friends came? No. Exactly. Their food is wonderful, but I have never tried breakfast. Pros: Really good food and large portions. After a long morning of unpacking in our new home, we saw a Jimmy Dean's, wow we thought, a great breakfast! Wrong! Breakfast stops at 11:30, we got there at 11:35, they sell breakfast sausage, why wouldn't they sell breakfast all day long? I settled on a sausage and egg sandwhich which was served up with lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise, what were they thinking? The employees looked like they did not want to be there and has little patience, when we asked for ranch dressing for the fries they asked for 50 cents...goodness what happened to good old Southern Hospitality?
