We had a plugged sewer line which was backing up into our shower pan. I called a friend who had a similar problem they recommended Jim Dandy. My wife also called a friend of hers,...

You really want me to write a review? well...here you go. The basic was not done when doing the job and that was "TURN OFF WATER TO THE HOUSE". The plumber was bracing a lose pip...

I feel comfortable that Jim Dandy will do a professional job that will protect my property 2/25/2017

Patrick, Ryan and Alex did an exceptional job of keeping me informed and recommending the right solution for my sewer problem. The pipe damage extended into my neighbors property and I was able to keep them informed as to the progress and issues, mainly due to weather. This is the second internal epoxy pipe sleeve that Jim Dandy has installed for me. You were recommended to me in 2014 by Forest Ridge Plumbing. more

Friendly servic, reasonable rates, knowledgeable work 2/24/2017

I have used Sam and Mike from Jim Dandy for several years now. They replaced rusted-out galvanized to copper connections, installed new valves, sinks and toilets, and even the main supply line to the house when it sprang a leak. All with a friendly smile and good advice, reasonable rates and top quality work. more

Excellent 2/22/2017

Helpful and thorough more

Very nice experience working with Jim Dandy 2/16/2017

Skyler and Wyatt were both professional in the way they conducted themselves while answering all my questions and performing the necessary work. more

Trustworthy and Professional 2/15/2017

Jim Dandy provided me with a quote and started same day service on a collapsed sewer line. After repairs, cancelled the hydro jetting and saved me from an unnecessary service which saved me some real money. Professional team and will recommend in future. more

Professional work done right the first time 2/14/2017

The workers called ahead to find out what was wrong with a shower valve while they were at the part store saving a trip. More professional than some of the other plumbing companies I have used in Seattle. They now have loyal customer. more

Great experience! 2/13/2017

Our technician was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Answered all my questions and explained what he was doing and why. I got a discount to apply to the base rate. I will definitely use Jim Dandy again!! more

Very professional 2/13/2017

I am very pleased with my service from Jim Dandy one item of installation of a faucet needed to be corrected, someone was out to the house within an hour after calling them. They also did not charge me for some extra work because I was originally inconvenienced. more

Honest, fast, great service. 2/13/2017

We had some type of blockage in our main line and had no idea if it was going to be $400 or $4000. Jim Dandy came out the DAY we called (they were the 3rd or 4th company I called, since I was going in order) and no one else was able to. They showed up prepared and ready to work, and with a much lower 'in the door' fee than the others we called, plus they charge by the job not by the 'quarter hour' which others quoted. We will use them again. They were fast and efficient and answered all of our questions honestly and thoroughly. Excellent service. more

Fixed My Problem 2/8/2017

There is nothing more you can ask from a plumber that fixes your problem in a quick fashion, and that is exactly what the guy from Jim Dandy Sewer did for me. When I called them, not only did they respond immediately, but they also were able to get someone out to my house within the hour which was impressive. The guy that was sent out was very knowledgeable and was able to identify the root of my problem within a couple of minutes. He went to work was able to knock out my problem in about an hour. I haven't had any more issues with that problem and so I am quite happy. Would definitely recommend Jim Dandy Sewer to anyone looking for a good plumber. more

Very Professional 2/8/2017

I was really impressed with the professionalism that everyone that I interacted with from Jim Dandy Sewer displayed. They were honest and upfront with everything and really made dealing with them a pleasant experience. They really worked with me to get everything done and I really appreciated their speed with each step. My only hiccup with them was that their price was a little high. Other than that though everything was great. more

Excellent service and workmanship. 2/8/2017

We had a great experience with Jamal from Jim Dandy. We were stuck with a sewer soaked basement this past Labor Day weekend. We had been using another side sewer contractor but he couldn't be back for another week so we had to go with a big company and I was worried we were going to have to pay big money. I dug the hole myself since the other contractor had located the next break in our line. If you want to save some money on sewer work - dig your own hole. It gets quite disgusting, it's hard work, and you have to dig them a good hole. The hole should have at least one foot on either side of the pipe and extend one foot beyond the problem area of the pipe on each end. Jamal showed up when he said he would, was working within five minutes, and was nice as can be. He rooted and scoped the pipe showing us the bad spots ahead, made the repairs and left us with a bill for only $355. A paltry sum in the side sewer business. If you want to save money don't pay a plumber $150 an hour to dig a hole, but dig a good hole yourself. Be warned, anything deeper than 4' is dangerous without proper bracing. Jamal was great, go Jim Dandy. more

All Ted and I can say is THANK YOU! You just never know how important your water heater is until your daughter comes to the kitchen wearing her snow jacket! Also, meeting a plumber with a great sense of humor was a plus! Great work boys! more

Great plumbing company! I love using a local business instead of a national chain. Service is great! They came out right away, were very friendly and got the job done very quickly. I will definitely call them again. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 1/25/2013

Absolutely irresponsible, dishonest, and terrible. They wrecked the sewer lines for the clinic I work for--and it wasn't even the clinic that hired them, it was the landlord next door! We never had plumbing problems until the day Jim Dandy started working on the sewer lines between our clinic and the house next door. When the sewer backed up, Jim Dandy said they would fix it, but instead broke a pipe in our basement without asking or telling us, and then said it wasn't their fault and never responded to any of our calls! This was over a year ago. Don't trust the glowing reviews, unless you have a couple thousand dollars to throw away at the gamble. more

I?ve used Jim Dandy as my Seattle plumber for years now and still call them whenever I have a plumbing emergency now that I live a little farther north. Very rarely do I need a plumbing contractor, but when I never hesitate to call Jim Dandy. I know they?ll do a great job, they won?t make a mess and most importantly, they?ll be friendly. more

Awful Awful Awful!!! I contacted them half a year ago for a clogged toilet and next thing I know the entire first floor's flooded with waste. They refused to return and fix the issue without charging me again so I went with another company. They sent a guy who spent half an hour and discovered that the previous contractor had damaged part of our sewage pipes. We had to get a whole section of our pipe replaced. WTF people. On top of Jim Dandy's bill, we had to fork over an entire grand to FIX what they did. On top of everything, they totally refuse to take any responsibility for what happened or even the redact the stupid bill they sent us for their ""repairs"". How is this company in operation??? more
